Have no idea who your are responding too......(they must have me on ignore so I can't see the original question), however, I don't think it is debatable that a potent passing attack has a direct impact on the LB's and safeties in the run game. Some teams run the ball to set up the pass.....we actually do the opposite. Either way can work
In 2023, we were 6th in rushing yards for the regular season. We also increase our rushing attempts by 15% - 20% as McD realized he didn't run enough in 2022, especially in short yardage and inside the 10 yard line (he publicly said this)
I don't think you can dismiss the impact of having two receivers who can beat CB's and Safeties deep so it doesn't allow them to cheat to the LOS to defend the run. I would also say that McD's willingness to take risks on 3rd and short (much to our frustration at times) also has an impact.
