One my favorites. Saw in movie theater when I was 13.
I agree. You tend to have steady position with examples and stats to verify position.Lol..... I wouldn't say "all", but yes as a generality.
When the movie came out I had to bring a note from my mom to get the Peter Benchley novel from my small town (really small) public library because it contained "sexually explicit" material.I saw Jaws as a kid. We drove from NY down to the Keys that summer.
Been a little a freaked in the ocean ever since, even off Malibu.
Doing what I can to push this Tua thread over 100 pages...

I just think it is extremely difficult to select a QB who would come in and be better than what they already have in Tua.I don't think that is what most of the so called "anti-Tua" crowd think at all. I don't think ppl, as a rule, "dislike" Tua, though there are a few that didn't like the pick and irrationally hold it against him in a personal level. What's to dislike about Tua as a person?
They just don't believe he is a "carry the team when the chips are down with a bad hand" guy. Not saying I agree or disagree, just that equating not believing in, and "hating" Tua are two different things and is a distinction you (and others) routinely dismiss, by lumping everyone together like that.
Frankly, a lot of the division here arises from posters having that attitude that refuses to acknowledge others may have valid opinions, and if their opinion is different then they are just hating aholes.
Nothing to do with Tua specifically, but your position reflects fear of not finding a good QB because of our track record over the last two decades. To that I would say when have we really tried?
RT is the only rd1 QB, aside from Tua, we have drafted. That's a pretty small sample size if you are applying statistical theory as a predictor.
Tyreek is history after this season. Holland, depends really upon the price safeties are not something to spend BIG$$ on. Chubb, we he is still under contract till 2027, but his cap is getting ugly in those final three seasons, I suspect do to the restructurings to free space this year and last.Until you have to cut Tyreek, Holland, Chubb and several more just to pay him the $42 million.
For what reason? Go back and look at the larger QB deals and when they get signed. Often before and even after TC starts. Our impatience doesn't create new facts.Dude, I don't think it's gonna get done in 2024.
Well, I'm really only stating the obvious here, but the reason would most likely be that the two sides are too far apart on contract demands v willingness to pay. Reports are, and who knows how accurate, are the sides are not close. If they were, it would be a different situation. For what reason?
