So was Mac Jones, and the receivers Tua had at Bama...don't get me started. It's fine that Tua is a great point guard who excels with supremely talented and FAST wr's, but he needs those things to make him who he is statistically. That's why Grier traded up for Waddle and traded for Reek, very wise to maximize Tua's skill set.
Take away Tyreek and you take away the true threat of this offense. Tua doesn't appear to be a guy that can win big with anything less than supreme talent at WR which is fine, but he needs to be paid less as a result or this whole thing will not work out. Allen for example, needs less offensive talent around him to be successful, because HE is more talented and a better QB than Tua like MANY others in the NFL. That's just reality and not everyone can deal with it, especially around here.
Grier didn't trade up for Waddle, he traded down for Waddle.
Also, just curious. Tuas rookie season. Can you name all the WRS he played with that are still in the NFL? I'll make it simple, as you only have 1 name to find.
