So the fugly colors, (specifically the orange swirl that goes down the escalator) will be gone? Say it ain't so! Lol

not really. first thing that came to my mind is a cable bridge.

That too, which looks kinda weird on top of a stadium.

I'm sure it's functional and structurally sound, I just think it's kind of an eyesore, that's all.

But In the end I guess I don't care too much what the stadium really looks like since I don't live around there. Maybe the canopy will serve to make it louder, which would be a plus.

I wouldn't be so sure. I just think the rendering is all white because it was done quickly and they didn't see a need to show details like colors, etc.

I could be wrong though.

New stadium would be ideal for sure, but I appreciate that they're going to cover the seating from the sun and move seats in closer to the field. The cover should improve crowd acoustics.

Yeah I'm at least hoping the canopy traps some of the noise and makes the stadium louder. Are they for sure moving the existing seats closer, or are they just installing new seating closer to the field?

My question is how will that hold up during a hurricane? From the looks of it it would be torn to shreds.

You'd think they'd know hurricanes occur in Florida and that they'd construct the structure to be able to withstand one.

I still think that proposal looks like garbage. Couldn't they find a more aesthetically pleasing way to put a tarp over the stadium? It looks like someone jerry-rigged a tent over the stadium.

No not a tent. A tent with a hole in it.

Looks like it might take off like a kite during a hurricane, maybe that is how he is planning on moving the stadium back towards Miami. Just build a flying stadium and wait for a hurricane.
:idk:

Hopefully they'll also paint the seats a different color than bright orange or better yet just win and fill the place up so you see no empty seats.
