If you think this trade was good then you have to admit that the initial trade to get him was terrible.

Real Time for what? Tell me what real time is he going to do and what Major crime he is going to commit? Yes his issues are minor, if he keep acting same way he will never get more than one nite in jail. He has behavoir issues, which is just a nuisance. All his issues are just acting childish, thats a personal problem not going to effect anyone except for himself. He is a NUISANCE, which i dont care as long as he on the field making our offense better.

I've already posted it. Assault on a law officer SHOULD'VE ended him up in jail. In fact, I have no idea how it didn't!!!

According to Orlando-Orange County public records (case 48-2004-MM-012392-O), on Halloween 2004, while a student at UCF, Marshall was arrested in Orlando on charges of assault on a law enforcement officer, refusal to obey, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer.[SUP][57][/SUP]

And then this:

On March 26, 2007, Marshall was arrested in the Highlands Ranch suburb of Denver on suspicion of domestic violence after his girlfriend reported that following a domestic dispute, Marshall prevented a taxi she was in from leaving his house. Charges from the incident were later dismissed on May 25, 2007, after Marshall completed anger management counseling.

And of course this:

In the early morning of October 22, 2007, Marshall was arrested in the Denver-Aurora metropolitan area at the intersection of 14th and Blake St. for driving under the influenceof alcohol. A trial was scheduled for September 16, but Marshall instead agreed to a plea bargain four days earlier; he pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of driving while ability impaired.[SUP][64][/SUP] He was sentenced to one-year probation and 24 hours of community service.

This:

On April 23, 2011, Marshall was stabbed near his stomach by his wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall. He was taken to a hospital and was released two days later. He is expected to make a full recovery

I actually like B-Marsh, I hope he gets it all under control, and I think it sucks he got traded away, but to walk around like a freakin Ostrich with it's head in the sand and suggest the guy is just another mis-understood guy is ignorance personified. The guy is living on borrowed time. If he didn't make millions, he would already be doing time.

Which is exactly what it was

Marshall was as good as advertised. Maybe even better than advertised

But it didn't move us any closer to being a Championship team. It never could. If you're going to make a blockbuster trade at least use it on a position that makes a big difference. If you've got a lemon at QB it doesn't matter who you surround him with you've still got a lemon at QB.

You can't really go anywhere in the NFL until you get a GM that realizes which positions are important and where you should spend your resources

I will also say this.
As obvious as it is that B-Marsh should be able to completely take over games and win them..... I honestly don't remember a single one where he did that for us?
I remember him catching an impossible pass over a Dallas defender and then dragging the rest of the defense into the endzone, but that was while he was still in Denver
I remember having a 21 catch game, a record I believe...and yet a loss...but that was also while he was in Denver.

I also remember a handful of VERY costly penalties where he simply lost his head.
I remember him throwing the then QB, Chad Henne under the bus
I remember him then throwing his next QB under the bus.
Santonio Holmes does that, and because of it, I'm personally VERY glad he's a Jest....and conversely, I'm glad we don't have to worry about a temper tantrum or 15 yard bonehead penalty.......or him throwing anybody else in the locker-room under the bus. That is now Lovie Smith's problem.... I'm thinking it's week 4 or earlier before he gets into some incident with somebody on his new team, whether it be coach or player...or girlfriend.....or whatever.

everytime I check back at this thread and read about brandon marshall throwing chad henne or matt moore under the bus, I laugh out loud so hard I usually end up pissing my pants.

I'd be willing to bet that 99% of finheaven at one point or another threw henne under the bus, and most have tossed matt moore to the wolves as well.

by god, if brandon marshall does it though, hes a ****in diva and a locker room cancer... I have asked in about 6 different threads now for somebody to produce a link of video, or audio where a dolphins team mate said anything about brandon in a negative light, in regards to him being a bad teammate and a lockerroom cancer/distraction... I keep not seeing anything from anybody...

when the bears are competing for the division, and we are beating our dicks at home instead of watchign phins games cuz we are in dead last, we can sit and remember that we got a sweet ass 3rd rounder this year for marshall.

Right, that's because the REST Of the team decides to take the high-road...like you are professionally expected by those that you share a locker room with to do. I applaud the rest of the team for not pointing it out and now I imagine, they don't have to worry about their name being the one that B-marsh calls out next.

Fans that throw either Moore or Henne under the bus are not excused either.
Unless you have actually, you know, stepped behind center in a Pro-Game, please just STFU about the aforementioned!!!

so guys like reggie bush, and pouncey were just full of **** and feeding us full of **** when they were tweeting about marshall being traded???

I mean, are these guys really upset hes gone, and confused, or are they just taking the high road again and throwing some horse**** out there?

We took a chance on a troubled WR...anyway you look at it this was a bad move to begin with

thats where I disagree... we traded 2 2nd rounders our track record with 2nd rounder under this regime has been abysmal... henne, white...

we got a WR who didn't get supspended... caught 167 passes, for 2,228 yards, and 9 tds...

we traded him for 2 3rd rounders, of which we have a worse track record than that of our 2nd rounders

Under the circumstances, I feel it was a good trade. We certainly to not need anymore drama here. I honestly feel there was more on the table until Marshall had to go out and screw it up on Sunday.

dolphins 2nd round picks under this regime...(ireland, ross)
phillip merling, chad henne, pat white, daniel thomas, sean smith, koa misi...

to summarize,
a backup DT, a failure at qb.. now gone, a failure at any level.. now gone, an oft injured RB, a mediocre CB, a failed OLB already being moved to ILB...

anybody take 86 catches, 1000 yards, and 3 tds over that mess... without even an average qb throwing the damn ball??

lets see the 3rd rounders..
kendall langford, patrick turner, john jerry, no pick in 2011....

I think that list speaks for itself, so I won't insult your intelligence... and I dont think I need to ask if you still want 80+, 1,000+ and 6 tds.....

We traded a fringe Pro Bowl for two third rounders. Patrick Turner, Derek Hagan were third rounders. Hartline, Edmond Gates were fourth. We didn't come anywhere ****ing near value for this. Those four's career numbers didn't match Marshall last year...

well we wasted 2 years not getting a differnt receiver spent plenty of cap money and traded second round picks for third round picks great friggin deal lol

Well, there wasn't a cap in at least one of those years and but we certainly didn't get top 5 production from him either...good trade...get rid of the malcontents. The guys was only slightly more productive than Chris Chambers and he was run out of town as well.... We did use the guy for 2 yrs...good trade...

I dont think marshall was a fringe probowler but just the end of another horrible move by this regime

If you add in the $10m a year, you can have those 3 TDs...I'll take Hartline...he gets just as many TDs and he doesn't bad mouth his teammates, the coach or the FO...
