what college players will you scout this year

Vince Young is defintely someone to watch though I always have a hard time figuring out Texas QBs. Dont know anything about Jamarcus Russel
 
Truethfully I am a little biased, but Ted Ginn really is getting way more hype then the kid deserves. Don't get me wrong the kid is a tremendous athlete, but the way people are talking about him gets kind of ridiculous.

I think Ohio State or Michigan will bag the national championship this year. USC is still tough but they are due to go down. The Ohio State/ Michigan game will be the best game of the year. I think they will both be undefeated going into that game

Damn skippy... I like how Troys suspensionw ent from one game, to two games, and am surprised it hasn't went further. They ARE scared of us, and rightfully so. I like Boeckman alot. He just hasn't got a real oppurtunity to play yet. He played in the scarlet and grey game, and looked like crap, but he is very good. And I wouldn't be upset to have him under center. Of course if Zwick pulls his head out of his a$$, we are set. Time will tell, but Tressell will play it close to the vest, and let the D win, until Troy is back in. We will be fine. Texas is gonna be our biotch. LOL, I am anxious, and cant wait.......

No one did good in the spring game!!! Im more worried about Iowa than Texas!!!

..and whoever said Ginn was overhyped hasnt seen him play!
 
add Miami U. QB Josh Betts. He went to my high school before i got up there. Hes rated the 8th best senior QB this year. I dont know how much potential he has but i got homerism in me in this one, add him to the list lol
 
I'll keep a eye on the usual, but won't focus on specific players until the phins midseason, by then I think I'll know more about what they'll be looking for. Then watch those positions start to come on by the end of the season, it never fails..LOL

Im just saying he shouldn't be a heisman candidate. I mean Penn State's backup quarterback had more yards recieving last year then Ginn. He will be a great player but he hasnt done enough on the field yet to be considered one.

I wish it was easier seeing that conference. Some good players have come out of that conference in recent years

Receivers generally dont get the Heisman. Leinart will have the spotlight on him this year. But you gotta admit, Ginn had a helluva coming out party
 
With Meyer there Leak is going to have a career year. Ill be watching him closely but then again i actually watch more college football than i do pro so i "recruit" alot of people. I like Mcneal and Young but don't think they have developed as QB's yet. People love to say these guys are closest to being the next Vick, but i've heard these comparisons before with other players and i never see them pan out. Don't get me wrong i watch 10 games Vick plays in every year because he's great and mega exciting, but he hasn't proven he can be an effective QB in the NFL yet. So perhaps the "next Vick" is not something we want yet. I think we want an all around QB...a guy that can scramble if needed but wants to pass first...which is why im so high on Leak. I love his work ethic and hope we have a shot at him. Cheers.

I agree his #'s are not worthy but people saw his big play ability and he wasnt a full time starter all season....plus he is the fastest guy in the country.

It was weird. But I didn't get to see that many Florida games last year. I am sure Saban will have a good read on him by the time next year's draft rolls around

I think I'll stay away from scouting the running backs this year since we just got Ronnie Brown but if gets injured who knows
