What is the difference between the Dolphins and Jets?

The Jets are no where ... no how. If your better than us why do you struggle to beat us every time? Lol. Why is Rexy 1-3 against the Fins.

You don't have more talent, you have better coaching, the end /thread.

Why is Rex 1-3? ... Because Ted Ginn ran back 2 kicks to win a game for you ... and because our offense turned the ball over twice in our own end in the pouring rain to give you your only 10 points, and our best WR dropped a wide open TD pass. Anything can happen in a given game, and you came out with a couple of wins. That doesn't prove who the best team is. You know what does? ... THE FINAL STANDINGS.

I saw the Yankees lose to the A's last night. I guess that means the A's are more talented, right?

We have the better roster. That's why we've been to the AFCCG the past two years, while you've been 7-9 both seasons.
Look at it this way ... you're 3-1 against the Jets, and 11-17 against anybody NOT named the Jets.

3-1 gets you bragging rights for the moment. Enjoy them until we meet again on the field.

The big difference is coaching the jets have it and we lack it.

Yeah the Jets are so good they got smacked up by Ted Ginn.. in multiple games. Epic.

I don't deny you've been the more successful team the last few years, but head to head your not better. I attribute your better finishes to coaching.

If you truly had better talent, you wouldn't lose to us so much.

Tip your cap, Miami made plays to beat us 3 of the 4 games in the rex era. Clearly we are better as we have shown throught he course of long seasons but head to head they have done a great job against us.

So you have equal talent w/ Buffalo? you split w/ them the last 2 years.

Sanchez is 4-2 in the playoffs on the road, Henne can't even handle regular season home games in December. The better qb right now is not even a debate, and i live in NY, and hate the Jets as much as anybody on the planet.

Yet, it's Henne that has better regular season stats.

Did Sanchez have a running game backing him up last year? Henne Didn't.

Did Sanchez have a healthy O-line to help him? Henne didn't, pretty much 3 of the 5 O-line positions had a backup, backup to the backup, or playing injured.

Did Sanchez have two deep threats to help him stretch the field? Henne didn't.

Did Sanchez throw a huge number of balls in the hand of defenders that were dropped? Henne didn't.

All these thing against Henne, and he still was rated higher then Sanchez, but of course, there is no debate Sanchez is the Better QB.

Henne and Sanchez are in the same boat, they both need to prove themselves, and if you don't believe it (hope the Jets Coaches don't), your fooling yourself.

Satts never tell the whole story.

henne's running game was very similar to Sanchez's running game and considering LT wasn't good from about week 6 or 7 on we didn't have a great ground game most of the year.

We lost Mangold for the 2nd half against NE, we lost Damien Woody late in the year and in postseason again.

Henne threw the ball nice and soft for defenders to catch so he didn't have a problem w/ dropped INTs.

You can have your rating, those of us w/ eyes can see Sanchez was significantly better a year ago.

Sanchez significantly better? Based on what? Your eyes? Sanchez was not significantly better, he was significantly luckier. The guy sucks.

The biggest difference between the Jets and Dolphins is the aggressive play calling of Rex Ryan and the conservative nature of Sparano.

You need to stop this nonsense.. last season was legitimate, but the only reason you were not at best 8-8 (and you could have been cause Cinci was a dead team walking even before the playoffs) the prior year..and watching from the stands is because Caldwell and Polian were so unconcerned about them that they allowed the jest to progress. Making the playoffs in 09 deserves an asterisk.. and that's all. You want to talk about final standings? Even without the charity, you still had to sneak in the back door! The charity was so egregious in fact that the league revised their philosophy on who meets who in late season games. Factually, we were both 7-7 teams although we didn't lose 6 out of 7 at one point and if we had played Cinci and Indy, we'd have been in the playoffs.. not you. You were appreciably better last season, we were even teams the in 09 and we look evenly matched this year.....So just cut the **** already.

So you have equal talent w/ Buffalo? you split w/ them the last 2 years.

You only won 2 more games than us(arguably 2 games where your opponents laid down for the playoffs) get off your high horse, you look pathetic, and will feel pathetic when we roll over you.

THe Jets aren't intimidating anyone, except for the people that buy into the BSPN hype train. The Patriots are another story. I know in your twisted little world your closer to the Patriots than the Dolphins, but that will be proven false yet again.

I don't think there is a huge gap talent wise. I think it starts at the top. We have a better owner, better GM and better HC & coahcing staff. Your owner is young in this game and hopefully for you guys will learn and he'll hire the right people after he gets rid of this regime soon.

Talent wise we hit on our QB, you guys haven't taken a shot w/ a 1st rd QB.

We have more drafted stars. We get headlines for FA pickups and trades but it starts w/ the draft. The jets philosphy has been quality over quantity, parcells/Ireland like a million picks and hope a few hit.

The biggest difference going into 2011? The coaching staffs. Switch the staffs and Miami is a title contender and the Jets a playoff contender. rex and his staff are that good.

Longterm the biggest difference has been from the top down, our Gm has been doing a good job since 2006. he knows how to draft talent(thank our staff of scouts for that), he knows how to work the cap and he knows how to acquire talent via trades/FA. Mike Tannenbaum would have upgraded the dolphins QB situation this offseason if he was your GM- he would have found a way.

more drafted stars? for crying out loud youve had like 12 picks the last 3 years! you guys are FA whores!

they have Plaxico and Holmes at receiver (2 very good ones), while we have Marshall and a worthless system guy as the second receiver

They have Dustin Keller, and we have Anthony Fasano

They have experience at rb, though our combo has as much talent imo. Their o line is better though at creating gaps

so where are they better? Skill positions. Whats new. Also I think Sanchez is a gamer and miles ahead of Henne, but thats more controversial I guess.

So bitter and childish. When you take away your 2008 div title we'll take away our 2009 run to the title game.

We have won 6 more games in the reg season and 10 ttoal inclduing postseason in the last 2 years.

We are AHEAD of the Pats the last 2 years and on their level going into 2010. Did you miss the time we manhandled them in their building in the div rd earlier this year?

He throws a really nice slant pass. I know, ive seen it like 20 times now in two weeks.

uh, reggie is not a vet? and more years on a RB doesnt neccessarily make for better. Im just waiting for LT to get his ussual ankle or foot prob.
