What is the difference between the Dolphins and Jets?

I hope none of you, we have the same talent as the Jets people, are also Sparano huggers. Because if the talent is so close, than our coach sucks, which most of know already, even our owner. One coach is getting afc championship games out of his team, and the other 7-9 seasons, ending each year with 3 straight losses.

Sanchez significantly better? Based on what? Your eyes? Sanchez was not significantly better, he was significantly luckier. The guy sucks.

The biggest difference between the Jets and Dolphins is the aggressive play calling of Rex Ryan and the conservative nature of Sparano.

i have never seen one thread on a jets website calling for the replacement of sanchez. there are 3 here everyday...

I kind of feel like the Jets have had their chance already, I don't think they will be playing for a championship this year. They needed to WIN THE DIVISION to have playoff games at home, and suffered because they didn't.
I know a lot of Dolphin fans like to think this way, but it really isn't true. The Dolphins do have some talented players, but it's not even close to being dead even. There's a reason why the Jets are one of the favorites to win the Superbowl at 8-1, and the Dolphins are sitting at 40-1. Sorry to all the over-the-top Fish fans out there, but I have to break it to you ... the Jets aren't overrated, and they don't suck. They're one of the better teams in the league.

These guys know what they're doing, and teams with "dead even" talent would never sit this far apart on the board. I gaurantee you, if the jets were sitting at 40-1 right now there would be HUGE money coming in on them, and if the Dolphins were sitting at 8-1 there's not a person in the world who would take the bet.

The Jets are right there, right now ... and the Dolphins are still climbing the mountain.

I, sir, live outside Dade County, and I only agree that your team has higher expectations. (I just wanted to point out another of your opinions that is false.)

Well at least we can agree than Kimmie is VERY hot.
No argument there.
Enjoy that pencil sharpener.

This is where it helps to know what you are talking about rather than just posting stats. Our rush #s are skewed b/c of reverses and WC runs, that's not our run game. Our run game is Greene and LT and yours was Ricky/Ronnie.

Wow 3 things I did not know:

1. Did not know a reverse and a WC play on the ground was not a running play,
2. Did not know WC and reveres were so easy to make, anyone could make big yardage with it.
3. Did not know only 2 players on each team ran the ball only.

Thanks

 Spin spinmeister, spin.

I really don't want to believe you actually believe this, but you continue to come back with this same garbage, looking pretty bad for you.

The Jets run is just beginning, we have a young core and I am nto sure any team has ever made back to back title games w/ a 1st and 2nd yr QB. Be prepared for this team to be a title contender for a long time to come.

How did we suffer w/ no home playoff games? You automatically assume we win home playoff games, NE and Atl had 1 seeds w/ byes last year and didn't win at home.

Pay attention and you can keep learning.

WC plays and reverses/end arounds are not part of the ground game- they are trick plays.

The 2 RBs on each team were the primary ballcarriers for our teams.

Polite had 26 carries and I'm sure 99% were in 3rd and short so that will skew a YPC and he was your 3rd leading carrier.

For us McKnight had 39 carries and was our 3rd leading carrier, 32 were in the meaningless week 17 game where Sanchez played a series and our backups dominated Buffalo.

For fun let's take out week 17 from the 2 2 RBs on each team(since you guys love to remove that game for your defensive rankings)

Games 1-15
Greene/LT: 404-1680, 4.16 YPC
Ricky/Ronnie: 347-1388, 4 YPC

Hmmm, it gets even closer

The bottom line is we had similar run games but our QB was much better makiing plays to win games. That was the biggest difference btw our teams last year.

For you to say that about me is pure comedy. I'm not sure you even watch football based on your silly, misinformed posts.

The Fins with Sparano have gotten the better of the jests most of the time.

I'd say the biggest difference is Sanchez and the fact that the jests owner is a football guy. The fins owner is a m0r0n. He will ruin the team and drag us down to the cellar in the AFC East. He should just sell the team now or learn how to be an NFL owner. Copying Jerry Jones will only do to the fins what Jones has done to the Cowboys.

Oh, I see, so when they put the stats for wildcat and flee flickers/reverses, they put that in the trick play category.....got it.

OK, it's very obvious that you did not watch any Miami Dolphins game, and as much as you want to act as if you know what your talking about, you only have half the info.

Listen, I agree with you, normally Miami's running game and O-line is as good or beter then your Jets, but because of injuries, it was not. I watched both teams last year, Jets were running more naturally, they were getting more big runs then Miami, they were getting more 4 yards or better then Miami. Yes Polite was used, and becasue Miami could not run, he did not have as good a year as he had done years past....he was stopped for 0 yards many times. Miami was way more in effective using the WC and reverses because they could not run.

The Jets had 5 guys ran for 100 yards or more, the Dolphins just 2. The The Jets ran close to 100 times more then the Dolphins, a Dolphins team that had Henning as their OC, who loves to run the ball, yet he did not run it quite as much, why? Because the run was not working.

Considering you are so lost on what really happened last year with our running games, maybe you should check each week how both teams did running the ball, and see for yourself that almost every week, the Jets ran better....but don't worry yourself, I expect Miami to be as good running the ball this year as the Jets.

All the stats should lead you to the same conclusion, the Jets ran for many more yards, more attempts, much better average, more 1st downs on running plays, twice as many runs for 20+ yards, 19 more 1st downs on the ground, more TDs running the ball. The Jets did have a better running game last year, and it helped Sanchez bigtime.

Stop being so hardheaded and admit the truth. :err:

They make moves to WIN. We dont.... If you look at the top in the AFC East NE and NY.... Both have QB's and we dont.... There backup QB's are better then our starters. It always starts and ends with the QB... We have not filled the Dan Marino void.....

Except we are the best team in the div the last 2 years as we have made 2 title games, won 4 playoff games including one AT NE while the Pats haven't won a single playoff game.
I kept reading this thread, waiting for this...knew it was coming. The anticipation was killing me.

Can you fix your posts to differentiate btw my post and yours then I will correct you.

No I didn't, I probably should have but I didn't. I can take anything you throw my way, I undrestand why people attack posters rather than the argument- it's b/c they have lost and they know, they have nothing else left to post so they attack people they don't know. I see it all the time.

That's good b/c I am not trolling and you don't present any challenge in any debate. You are nothing but a dolphin homer/jets hater.

nychump? thta is pretty witty:rolleyes2:

Your having enough problems correcting yourself on this matter. Hopefully reality sets in, or you stop the spinning of facts that can not be spun to work for you. No matter how you try, your overrated QB got much more help to succeed, then Henne. Thanks
