the DTs stop the run and this year we have some new DTs, you can't possibly beleive that your d-line will be better then ours by the end of the season do you? we have the better talent on the d-line proven or not

lets just talk about talent and whatnot, these are predictions, we wont know who was truly the bes ttill after the season, but the point of predictions is to guess BEFORE you see them play a down...

i can say the talent we have on ends and the depth of our line we should be ahead of you guys, not to take anything away but your ends aren't that great, whos your best, shoebel? whos he scaring? your D is great becaus eyou hvae a very good LB and DB core, and your DTs contained the run last year, but you lost 1 starter in there which will effect your depth...

so PREDICTING for next season who will be the better dline id have to give it to the fins over you guys... i think our guys will come together fine, they arre mostly veterans and shouldn't have a problem gelling together...

talent means squat when that talent cannot play as a unit. The redskins w/ an all-pro line-up that couldn't do squat. The Pats won their 1st sb w/ a no name team. Other than you DT's you have good talent on paper as far as your DL is concerned.

We can spin the line-up of both teams by talking "what if's". We'll end up no where.

They're front is awesome. Wilfork is gonna be extremely good. Richard Seymour is the best 3-4 DE in the game, and Ty Warren is extremely talented. These three guys are all young. Hill is also talented, and could really excel in the 3-4 with his size.

for the record, T. Anderson is not slated as the DT starter. R. Edwards is. decent pass rusher, but less effective at run coverage.

that's the thing. Anyone can play MS. Cleo. about the upcoming season. At least have a basis w/ your prediction. You can make assumptions all you want but there are two sides to an assumption. Good and bad.

the thing were basising it on is that Jason Taylor as well as the other players have been consitently better then your players on d-line and your defense is that they have never played together before? why is that a problem? they have the whole offseason to get to know each other and play as a unit. playing as a unit isn't a science all the players need is time with each other and they have had the whole offseason and will have the rest of the offseason

JT couldn't do squat for your D last year. Your D had the whole off season last year too playing with the same system and they ended up crappy against good O's. Now they have to get familiar w/ each other and learn a new system.

Nick1 , all you're doing is wishing that you have a DL that will be good. You don't even know how JT will do with the new system. You "hope" he'll be fine but you have 0 proof that he will definitely do well.

Justa, by your theory we are more set at QB because AJ has played here for a year, and Gus knows the system. Losman is unproven.

However, I'd take Losman over Gus and AJ because he is more talented. I look at your QB situation the same way that I look at our Dline, with optimism.

Your view on our Dline is pessimistic. Yes, you know what you've got with your line, but potentially ours is a lot better. It might just be me, but I'd take the potential.
