I'm not the one going around telling people that JP is better than AJ. I hope JP is better. It's my opinion he will be better but it's not proven. Just like your DL is not proven to be better than ours. Thanks for making my point. ;)

I'd take potential over proven anyday and look at the bottom of page 3 for someone who agrees with me

Huge difference. If you were comparing JP to Gus than yes, Gus is more proven than JP. But Feeley? He hasn't proven squat. HIs experience hasn't shown anything other than he sucks. Granted he had a horrible Ol for an excuse, he hasn't shown anything either.

Not pessimistic, just realistic. There are two sides of a potential. A potential to succeeed and a potential to bust. No doubt on paper you are better than last year . However, there's the potential of your DL not easily adopting to a new system and not having any chemistry.

There's also the potential of your DL not being able to do anything when teams are able to exploit your potentially weak backfield.

On the other hand, your backfield "COULD" benefit from your DL "IF" they are able to live up to the POTENTIAL of having a good pass rush.
 
1) Jets

2) Phins

3) Pats

4) Bills

We have the most depth at the D line, which should give us a soild rotation, the problem is we dont have alot of young guys, hopefully we will get Wright though. The Pats have a solid D line too with Wilfork and Seymour are damn good. The Bills have a decent line, it sucks that you guys lost Pat Willams, but you still got Sam Adams(always a great decision), You should have gotten better D ends this season. The Jets have had one of the best lines in the AFC, and they are consistent.

isn't this supposed to be predictions on the upcoming season?

my basis is the talent of our line, your basis is that they haven't played as a unit yet, your basing your guess on nothing, at least im basing it on the individuals in the unit...

but with your philosophy if a team put together a Dline of dwight freeney, julius peppers, marcus stroud and richard seymour, they still wouldn't be as good as your bills since "they haven't played together yet"...

Hey, if you want to be better on paper , you can have it. Talent alone does not produce results.

If the title of the thread is "who has better talent" the discussion would've been different.


Since he was asking about who has the best DL, paper doesn't holds squat to what is proven......

Probably, but there void in DT should make some fans nervous. However I think the D-line is a strong point of everyone in the AFC East, but I would probably rank it Pats, Jets, Phins, Bills. All very close though.

dude we have beloved franchise not like u guys that u cannot even win a bowl aand have struggles at Qb, We do also but at least we have a coach that will build us a championship, on the other hand Mularkey will get u squat, jealousy hurts soo bad when u know that ur arch rivals are improving and gettin better when ur team will struggle in the Future . :goof: take that
