Based on the score of the game and how the defense was unable to stop the Giants in the second half, it appears the coaches didn’t plan effectively for the Giants strengths and weaknesses. It certainly appeared several of their active players should be doing some else beside playing in the NFL.
But, but, but...GRIER!While, it may be fun to belittle Harris now, he WAS a consensus first round pick. Don't let anyone tell you that he wasn't.
Here is one of the typical pre-draft reviews of Harris.
Bottom Line
Harris has a floor of a third down, pass rushing specialist in the NFL. He is almost certainly going to be a sack master with his ability to burst off of the ball, pin his ears back and chase down the quarterback.
He tends to get up when defending the run, and has some issues in setting the edge. His playing strength will be a major question as well. However, his body type gives him the ability to gain weight, and become a well-rounded, powerful rusher to go with his great jump.
The ceiling for Harris is a Pro Bowl player, and given the track record of Missouri pass rushers, and his higher floor than others, he is almost certainly going to find himself in the first round. The rawness and the lack of complete overall game may drag him below the top ten, but in the middle of the first round, someone is going to find a great value pick with a great pass rusher in Charles Harris.
There are many more like this. It didn't work out, but for honesty's sake, please try to remember that he was well thought of by most of the services. They ALL had him as a #1.

Sounds like you're in the wrong job.Was so pissed we drafted him over TJ Watt, people forget that siblings train with each other, im sure JJ Watt had so much to do with his development.
This year i wanted Jeffery Simmons over Wilkins, the jury is still out.
Also I badly wanted to draft both A.J Brown and D.K Metcalf but everyone roasted me for suggesting that now look at them both now.
A.J Brown reminded me so much of Chambers, god i miss him.

There was a healthy amount of members around here that had TJwatt red flagged bc he only did it for one year and wasn’t a “scheme fit”
they also loved the Harris pick bc of his character
