Will Miami pull a San Diego??

Im Hoping we pull a Carolina! They did a 1-15 season and then the next year go to the super bowl! I hope we have a dismal season and then the next season go to the super bowl just like the panthers did with Delhomme did as their quaterback!!!!!!!

wasnt the next season was 2 years after , in 2001 they were 1-15 then 2002 they were around 7-9 or worse cant recall, then in 2003 they went to the sb.....

...and if you think we wouldn't be happy with that , you are crazy!

(of course, with a win in the SB, but hell...)

I make one serious comment to try and add my outside opinion to the conversation and I get jumped on by half the board. Listen, this isn't depths of the sea, and I wasn't trash talking. That's my opinion. This is a thread about Miami's chances in '05, not play bully to bills fans. Have some respect for yourselves as fans to be able discuss topics in an adult manner. Just because I have a different opinion doesn't mean you have to come back at me with (Omg omg 4 super bowl losses) or (Jills suck, JP Loserman sucks, we're better.)

I stand by what I said earlier. I mean really, picture this. You aren't a Miami fan. Let's look at the facts. Miami has close to no qb (Let's be honest), no line, new coaching staff, new offense and defensive schemes, and you went 4-12 last season. Are you afraid of that in the least? (keeping in mind that you are not a Miami fan) No. Should there be any reason to think that the Dolphins will "pull a San Diego" in the toughest division of the toughest conference in football? The answer is no.

Thank you Ms. Cleo...

Go do some research on Hudson Houck.

I normally respect everyone's opinion on here, unless they automatically say "no," like you did.

Typically a Bills fan.

We signed some good free agents for the OL, and AJ Feeley has more experience than JP Losman has in the NFL.

Not to mention your head coach isn't a hair on our head coach's @ss.

See ya, jills fans, come back to us next year when you are 7-9.

u wish the dyNEsty is over and on the decline!!!!!

but the fact is its not, team is loaded more than ever this year and chad brown is very close to becoming a pat!!!!!!

that will be announced anytime now......

The Pats are not loaded more than ever, they have taken major hits but I agree the dynasty os not dead yet. They still have enough to win but a slight tumble is likely. By the way, Chad Brown hasn't been a big time player in years so losing Bruschi and getting Brown is a HUGE downgrade.

No they didn't, the next year they went 7-9 and then in a weak NFC made the SB the following year.

go look at the pats roster and team and then come back and tell me we are not loaded, you must not of looked at it for awhile....

you are ajets fan so i dont expect you to know what the team concept is, the pats dont rely on one player only, chad brown isnt a replacement for bruschi, the pats already got beisel and they have klecko coming back who will chip in, also they will rotate players around. people hear we lost tedy and a gimpy law who missed most of last year, and our 2 coords and then assume we are losing too much....

and besides until it is official tedy will sit out the season saying he is a big loss is not accurate. He has been working out and there is a great chance he will play in 05

when you said a slight tumble i agree, the pats will not win 14 again, but they will go 13-3

Ben rothlisberger was an anomaly, Dan marino was an anomaly, and the Chargers from last year was an anomaly. As much as I yearn for us to go 16-0 regular season the fact is we were 4-12 and had second pick in the draft. If we go 5-11 then we've taken a step in the right direction. 6-10 and we should be content, 7-9 Be happy, 8-8 ecstatic!!! We have one of the top 5 hardest schedules this year, are in the hardest conference in the NFL, have all new coaching, Playbook, and staff.

There's way to many variables to say what our record will be. But know that a .500 season would be incredible for a turn around. Anything higher then that is "an anomaly"

<--- Puts back on orange and teal glasses

WOOHOO Go dolphins :D

Do you even know what an anomaly is?

If this, if that.

Bottom line we swept you and you were 4-12. If you want to get excited to "try" and have a chance to redeem yourself thats fine.

But as of right now Buffalo, the Bills, and the rest of the NFl has no respect for you. You are on par with SanFran and Cleveland until proven otherwise.

Who said anybody in the NFL respects the Bills?

I bet the Steelers backups have a healthy respect for the Bills.

Dude...thats a badazz sig you got there!!!!

Almost makes a billygoat look scary.. almost!!!

LOL...that was directed at wagon circler....To many beers on this end of the big pond....bedtime now to save face...... :escape:

The O-line, and Frerote/Feeley are the key!!! I truly believe We are more than set at RB, WR, TE, D-line, LB, and our DB's are going to do A LOT better than anyone expects(Poole reminds me of Surtain when he first came up, and Tebucky Jones is a serious upgrade at SS....IMO) I still think Frerote will be our starter, and he will do just fine, but I wouldn't mind one bit if Feeley was the guy and played at a decent level. And as for the O-line.........Houck will help a lot, and I still think Macintosh is a good player, and Carey can be an excellent guard, plus add Stockar Mcdougle, and we're not looking that bad

As For the Miami/San Diego scenerio..........
-Their QB is much more proven right now
-Their RB is probably the best in the League, but Ronnie Brown has all the tools to reach that kind of level
-Our WR's are better
-The TE's are close to equal
-Our defense is better
-We're probably going to be just as good a team talent wise as San Diego, but the wild card is our schedule.........Toughest in the league in the toughest division
