Let cog and martin go some where else.We don't need anymore drama.
Are you kidding me? Winning a championship with marshmallows would be way less maintenance and expensive (less hotel damages, posting bail, settling golf club molestation out of court, etc.).Bring Martin back and you get a team of marshmallows. And personally, I'd rather win a championship with a bunch of politically incorrect loudmouths, than a bunch of marshmallows in need of serious therapy.
They could go to couples therapy together. Since they're such close Bros.
Bro you should renew your VIP membership.:brewskis:They could go to couples therapy together. Since they're such close Bros.
Totally disagree. The problem was caused because he didn't speak up. This concept that snitching is a major locker room offense seems wrong. We need an environment where the players can come forward to discuss their problems. This notion that Turner lectured and cultivated the Judas code and Incognito enforced it, was a major part of the problem. He'll no, Martin = coward, snitch plus is mentally unstable which equates to morale rot to the entire team

This "Judas code" is an interesting point. Turner did after all help with getting Martin help for his depression. IMO Turner and O'Neal were canned because things were happening they either knew about and witnessed and didn't address the issue themselves, or as reported contributed to. They were coaches, not "one of the boys".
The talk of Martin saying something to anyone in that building is telling. He could talk about his mental problems but he couldn't defend himself. Which if he said to anyone would've likely been the end of it.
I don't think Richie enforced anything but his poor judgement and bad taste.
I don't think what happened in Miami caused Martin's issues, merely exacerbated it's previous condition.
His decline began away from the team and teammates.
IF the players said that they would welcome him back, would anyone here disagree with them? If so, why?

If the players left agree that he can come back , why not. They are the guys that work with him. People break down on many jobs and most don't address the issue until its too late. If things are cleared and he is checked out Im all about second chances esp when its not like he has raped , attacked or killed anybody. people did lose their jobs and if they had been professionals we probably wouldn't be having this conversation. Martin needs to be thoroughly evaluated before he plays for any team.
