I think it's clear that Gase has good head coaching qualities and is on his way to becoming a very good head coach.
I look at things like player management, overall effort of team, ability of team to play hard and win close games, second half adjustments, gameplans, all of that stuff. And what I see is a team that he inherited in 2016 that was not very good, and had real deficiencies all over the place, that has gotten better in a hurry despite a run of absolutely ABYSMAL luck.
I mean just look at the roster we had last season, the injuries we suffered to it, and now what's happened to start this season. 10-6 and now 3-2.
How the **** are we 3-2 right now? Do you really think the head coach does not deserve credit? I think the biggest stain on Gase's resume right now is that he promoted Foerster to run game coordinator and then the guy decided to start doing 8-balls in his office before meetings. And even then you can say "We're 3-2 despite that insanity."
