Tannehill Having Best Year Of His Career.

NINE sacks......... There isn't a QB that ever played that would have mattered.

So you think every/most QBs in the league would have been sacked NINE times today? None of it’s on him? The guy gets sacked more than anyone I’ve ever seen and has since he’s been in the league. Some of this has to be on him imo

In a game where his OL is complete trash, what the hell sense does it make to look for issues with the QB? I'm how bad does it have to get for the Tannehaters to point to the OL? Serious question....
I'm not saying it's his fault, I'm just asking if/when YOU question his ability. Every post you make is in his defence one way or another, it's bizarre. To be objective you need to understand flaws and from what I have seen you post, Tannehill has none.

Let's say two were on him.....so???? Seriously, the game would have been different with 7 sacks instead????? Please......

Then you are not looking hard enough.

I think it is fair to question our decision making in the face of the blitzes we saw today......not sure if that is Ryan not picking it up or our coach not thinking it was a priority, but when the game was still in question, the Vikings did a full out blitz and they showed the camera angle from behind Tannehill and we had 3 receivers in the pattern and all of them had their backs to the LOS heading downfield. Why there is no outlet option or hot read quick slant in our offense is beyond me. You could say it is on Tannehill not seeing it, but that doesn't explain the receivers not reading or seeing the blitz either. Not sure what the problem is, but it was sure on full display today.

Well what if half were on him? Would be nice for him to escape the pocket a few times a game and possibly step up in the pocket. I know the line is trash but he still looks so stiff still after all this time

Very much this. Most of the issues today were par for the course for the Dolphins and could have been overcome. But it was those 3rd down suicide blitzes that really killed several drives yet we did nothing to adapt. And I agree that I'm not sure who I blame more: Gase for calling such long developing plays when they were obviously going to keep blitzing or Tannehill/receivers for not reading and changing the play.

That's the part that bothers me the most about this game. When it was obvious our line couldn't block or their all out blitz was coming why there wasn't any adjustments whether by the receivers or the QB or, more importantly, the coaches? That's what I'd like an answer to.

I can't expect Tannehill to run around with that bum ankle but when the pressure is getting immediately to him where are the screens, the roll outs.. .. Or something to counter. Urgh!!

7 years in, I've lost count on all the head coaches and offensive coordinators, and the same problems still show up. Tannehill is a 6-8 win Qb. He doesn't make the plays that takes you to 11+ wins and also doesn't make the plays that takes you to 4- wins.

Halfway through the 4th qtr he had like 70 yards passing.

Under 100 yards passing in today's pass happy NFL is just unacceptable. That doesn't just fall on Tannehill. It falls on Gase, his coaching staff, as well as every other player on offense. The Vikings defense is good but they are not that great. The ineptitude of this team and pathetic showing today is more than enough to get the entire coaching staff as well as the front office fired. Yes the Dolphins are dealing with some major injuries. Yes they lack talent at certain positions. However there is no excuse for that pathetic performance following a win vs the Patriots the week before. That just shows me that the team lacks focus and the desire to do everything it takes to win. That shows me that this coaching staff can't keep these players focused and prepared. While the players have to take responsibility for their own failures that does not obsolve the coaches of their own.
