2016 Coaching Data Base

I agree. The Bengals were once considered just as much a clownshow as this current Dolphins organization is now... He turned the culture around completely and turned them into a perrennial playoff team.

Of course, Ross wouldn't recognize that though and probably hire the supposed wunderkind Gase instead...

Lewis has gotten what most coaches don't get.....and that is time. And I agree Skape, he has turned the culture in Cincy around.....good to see.

Hopefully Gase chooses Chicago or somewhere else so we don't get the chance to make another stupid hire.

Again....

1. Jackson, 2. Shannahan

The list after that should be blank.

.@NFLonFOX has learned @Colts interviewing @MiamiDolphins John Benton, @GIants Pat Flaherty & @49ers Chris Foerster for o-line coach opening

Good for Miami for letting the staff look elsewhere and not holding them over for the next coach can decide on them.

Get rid of your 2nd choice too because he is not getting picked.

Dolphins head executive Mike Tannenbaum said earlier this week that Campbell was studiously preparing for his interview.

“Dan is going to have his day in court. He’s been told that,” Tannenbaum said. “We wanted to give him some days so he can put his plan together in earnest. I believe that’s what he’s working on now. If you hear Metallica or there’s a lot of dipping chewed upstairs, he’s probably taking a study break right now. But I’m sure we’ll get his best efforts in the interview.”

One of Campbell’s top assistants, offensive line coach John Benton, is interviewing for the same position in Indianapolis, according to Fox Sports’ Alex Marvez.

While few insiders expect Campbell back, Benton’s interview isn’t necessarily a reflection on Campbell’s future.

Even if Campbell were to somehow stay in Miami, he’d likely overhaul the coaching staff to implement his vision of a more physical, grind-it-out team.

Bears OC Adam Gase now has 9 behind-the-scenes looks at teams in last 15 months. Regardless of where he ends up, that quite a knowledge base

His next interview is already set up with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He's going for an even dozen and is out of NFL teams.

The one thing I like about Campbell is that he doesn't waste time benching players.

Alikens, Jamar Taylor, Bobby McCain, Michael Thomas, Greg Jennings, etc.

I would want to know how he plans to fix the mike and O-line. Not my first or second or third choice but it wouldn't be the worst hire if he can get good coordinators.

i know everyone wanted Dallas Thomas benched, but there was literally no one behind him to step up. Same at the Mike and they tried with Hull and Vigil and it was even worse.

I've heard of the pop-up issue before. I think it goes away if you join VIP.

Its not a pop up, its on the top of the page.

Doesn't really bother me, besides the fact there's a woman trying to look sexy wearing a damn black diaper on top of the page. Marketing wise it doesn't seem to make much sense though.

Detroit Lions are expected to hire Patriots director of pro scouting Bob Quinn as their general manager, league sources told ESPN.

I want Hue Jackson as my #1 and the rest i don't really care or mind.

I could easily see the bengals fire Marvin Lewis on Monday or something and name Hue Jackson Head Coach.....

Dan Campbell i am starting to kind of prefer over Doug Marrone & Mike Smith because to be honest Campbell inherited a pretty bad staff of assistants and more of a finesse type of coaches. (he's young and i wouldn't mind giving him a chance as long as he agrees to clean house of all the assistants other then MAYBE Rizzi)

Gase could be someone like John Gruden or someone like Mike McCoy/Medicore esque coach i have no clue.

Dan Campbell with lets say Lovie Smith/Leslie Frazier as DC would be intriguing.
