Ireland sucks. He can't draft and he has a terrible reputation around the league for being a complete assh0le.

Yeah, so, why are you saying Sparano entered the picture in 2010? Sparano was brought to Miami in 2008, along with Ireland, by Parcells. 2010 has nothing to do with anything.
 
He had way too much ammunition this offseason to give us another average season. For that, you get the axe
 
because he was under the thumb of Parcells.

His every move, just like Ireland. It is common knowledge that Parcells said "X" and Ireland and Sparano said " yes sir, right away sir.....How High Sir?"

I'm fine with that. I don't think there's anyone on the coaching payroll worth keeping.

Do you folks who enjoy mediocrity do so because you live mediocre lives?

It seems to be our only our fanbase that has people who are content with this garbage...wtf.

I only vaguely recall an article on Manning not wanting to meet with our owner and front office, but im not certain where i read it. Here is an article on the situation though i dont think its the one i was referring to when i wrote those things:

Dolphins management, it turns out, had to enlist the help of Dan Marino just to secure a meeting with Manning, a source with direct knowledge of the situation told the Post.
The Dolphins’ brass did not deal with Manning directly and was frustrated last week when it could not pin down a meeting with him through his agents at Creative Artists Agency (CAA)...

The Dolphins’ meeting was the only one of the four done by Manning not to take place in the team’s city. Manning flew to Tennessee, Denver and Arizona to tour their facilities and meet with players, coaches and executives. His meeting with the Dolphins on Monday was conducted in his hometown of Indianapolis, and with only coach Joe Philbin and other members of the coaching staff present – not Ireland or Ross.

I'll tell you how big time money people handle hiring and firing. It's all about production. If you can sell me that you will out produce your competitors I'll hire you. When you don't I fire you and find someone who will. Ireland has only managed not to make this team stink, which simply isn't productive enough. Research the business world and you will find CEOs who get hired then fired, then hired somewhere else. Same thing, they can sell themselves but if they don't produce...fired.
 
You answerd your own question when you said he had been here for six years.
It's simple... He wasn't GM enough to get it done.

Do not revamp the defense. The only defensive change I would make is getting rid of Chris Clemons. At this time... All the other guys in defense will get better because they will know the system better.
 
After six years, the team is no better (or worse) than when he was brought up.

That is the definition of mediocrity. Should be all the answer you need.

Tannehill, pouncy, clay, hartline, Carroll, Wilson, reshad jones, Chris Clemons, rishard Mathews, odrick, OV, miller, just to name a few

Go look at other nfl teams over that time period, and u won't find many teams w better draft results than us

The team is better, we have our long term answer at qb, ready to put it all together in year 3

You're mixing common knowledge with belief, because your assertion has no real evidence to support it. If you think Ireland (and even Sparano) were nothing but puppets while Parcells was here then you're fairly clueless.
