Even if you say Ryan and Tannehill are a wash, we would still have had a 1st and 2nd round draft picks we had to use trying to find a qb. And we still have no left tackle, Long was the wrong pick.

I have always been supportive of my team . Even in the worst times. I always will wear my gear.
Have to show my colors. Dolphins Baby.

How do you figure the Marino/Moore comparison? I listed Matt Ryan and Ryan Tannehill's first two seasons and they compare to each other. How is that similar to the comparison you're trying to make?

How the hell does Matt Ryan's and Ryan Tannehil's first two seasons compare lol.
Now if u said their second season was similar then you would have a point.
As a rookie Ryan was much better than Tannehill and its not even close

Im a dolphins fan period. I think we have a poor owner and a below average coach. Still I will always be a dolphin fan.
I don't excuse the team for idiots and idiotic things done.

There is no denying that right now is one of the darkest moments in the history of the Dolphins franchise. I am not talking just about bullygate, but the last 10 plus years.

1. One playoff appearance in the last 12 seasons.

2. Star player in Ricky Williams quiting on the eve of training camp.

3. Choosing Culpepper over Bress. Culpepper plays one year with Miami and is now out of the league. Brees is still with the Saints, putting up big numbers and won a Super Bowl title(on the Dolphins home field).

4. Big name head coach in Nick Saban quitting to return to college football.

5. 1-15 season

6. GM asks inappropriate questions of a draft prospect

7. Owner tries to hire a new head coach in a public manor while still employing a head coach. After being turned down is forced to give head coach he was trying to replace an extension.

8. Jeff Fisher turns down Dolphins

9. Peyton Manning turns down Dolphins

10. Multiple GM candidates turn down Dolphins

11. Bullygate becomes a national story and the team is facing league punishment and could lose draft picks

12. Empty stadium and a failed push to make stadium upgrades

Has any team had it worse the past 10 plus years from bizarre things happening, to negative national stories and no winning on the field? A team like Buffalo or Oakland don't win either but they do so without all the scandals and blunders that the Dolphins do. So my question is to all Dolphins fans are any of you still proud to call yourself a Dolphins fan? Do you still wear your Dolphins shirts and jerseys? Do you still put on your Dolphins hat when going out? Or do you try and hide from others that you like the Dolphins?

No not at all but I think Philbin shows no qualities as a leader or coaching abilities: Its only a show but just look at hard knocks last year, he cowarded like a little girl when asked questions about leadership among his players; He gets outscored in nearly every game in the second half; refuses to fire any coaches unless he is fired; tells apointe to snitch on the GM so he can tell his butt buddy ross to fire him; tells ross to hire a GM who has had one of the worse records in the nfl over the past 15 yrs; doesn't call any plays for green bay and according to green bay management is only a yes man and would throw anyone under the bus to advance his career; shows no emotion on the sidelines or in the locker room and it shows with the players during and after games especially seeing Tanny laughing all the times after losing games; worse offense line play in team history when this is suppose to be his speciality; players questioning in public his leadership skills especially the last 2 most important games when Miami should have won; the whole martin situation where he claims he didn't anything(all former coaches said there was no way he should have not know of what was going on) again he cowards like a little girl and doesn't take responsibility.....The GM had hits and misses but its hard to tell when the coach tells ross to get rid of players who were outspoken like the 3 on the team counsel. GM 3 years ago claims he didn't make any moves during the draft since he didn't get any calls and oh yeah all the draft crap like claiming certain players chosen in the 1st round should contribute on special teams like ginn, greenwood, and the 3rd pick last year; hiring coaches that have no experience in their position - qb coach, linebackers coach, and the GM, etc.; Tanny was a reach since the GM said it might take several yrs to develop since he only had 1 yr of experience at Texas AM and the coach saying game after game tanny and Wallace just need game type experience for them to click; but of course its the oline blame on his development which is Philbins expertise; many players saying that they haven't learned anything from the coaches since joining the fins and assistant coaches knowing a lot more than there superiors(seems like once they live south beach they suddenly start improving on other teams)....Not sure about the off season but seems like the fins get players that don't always fit there needs/schemes. Its funny cause the fins have beaten good teams and have lost to some very bad teams this year so maybe they have some decent pieces in place like mostly on the defense side so I don't think there too far away but with the current fiasco(loss draft picks, players/coaches suspended) and players claiming they don't want to play here it will be interesting in deed and how the new GM(we all know its philbin) will play out... I predict a long couple of years to recover but in the NFL now a days it seems like it doesn't take to long for a team to recover and be successful but it definetly takes a good GM and franchise QB.

In the context of comparing Matt Ryan to Ryan Tannehill, I'm not sure we should be addressing one's clutch play in a Conference Championship game, while the other can't even post a 50 QB rating in two games on which a simple playoff berth hinged.
,
But you wanted to compare the two, and compared to last year Tannehill was better than Ryan. So we should only use the fact that Ryan sucked last year and ignore his choke job, not just last year but the year before when he CHOKED again in the playoffs. Or How about when they played the Giants and they scored a total of 2 points! definitely clutch lol

Tannehill was not better than Ryan quit with that. Its easy to take a game in the vacuum and say this guy sucks because of this. I mean in reality the jets games this year was a like a playoff game and we mustered zero points, is that all on Tannehill.
Ryan is a good qb that should get better and Tannehill is becoming a good qb and will get better. I guess Peyton Manning sucks because his numbers in the super bowl were not good.

Wow!!! A we need to be embarassed to be dolphin fans because thread (with a poll no less)...must suck seeing it's 76% to 24% in favor of being proud as of this post.
