Brian Flores will be back next year - He's earned it

I'm glad to be in disagreement with the likes of you. The losing streaks, how he handled Tua, the offensive line ... there's plenty that hasn't been near good enough for anyone that knows anything about football.
First time head coach, I guess you like a revolving door and wasting time. And how he handled Tua??? Ever think that Flores was not in control of the Watson rumors? And he doesn’t have control whether Tua stays or goes, that‘s on Grier. You want Flores to handle Tua like a child and tell him everything’s gonna be alright? This is the NFL dude, not grade school, Tua needs to have tough skin and he seems to have it

If we finish the season 10-7, he can stay. Otherwise gtfo.
If he stays I believe you are just putting off the inevitable. Plus there is another possibility this Offensive line doesn't get fixed, we don't spend wisely and get the FA's we need, and we don't get a respected OC in here. :ffic:

There are a few fires before we get to Flores. First the QB who gets broken ribs and fingers and cannot stay healthy. Second is the GM who hired Jacoby for backup QB.

It shows that the talent is there. It is preparation and coaching is lacking. They were not ready to start the season.
There is some talent no question. Still have glaring holes on the O line , RB, LB. We weren’t a 1-7 team roster wise and that’s what made this all the more frustrating. However , I’m not looking for feel good stories and rallies after brutal starts.

A great head coach in my mind is defined, in part, by his ability to consistently have great assistant coaches around him where he is lacking. Not only that, but good assistants will get promoted and move on. A good coach is able to find replacements regardless.

Flores has done nothing but bring over former New England assistants and gotten rid of them. He fires his own and then promotes from within? Really?

It’s going to be Adam Gase all over again with him only bringing in former Denver and Chicago connections.

We need a coach that isn’t stubborn and has the ability to network and bring in others to help him consistently win and adjust.

Keeping Flores another year will be the same mistake that keeping Sparano an extra year was. It will be a waste of player's longevity and development.

Flores did nothing to win this game. The 'fumble' challenge was another dumb challenge. Allowing the 3rd down conversion before the two minute warning (giving the Panthers an extra first down if we didn't convert) was another misuse of time.

Flores needs to give Cam Newton a game ball.

Hopefully, Flores will come back next year with a full stomach of humble pie.

He's going to do the following: Hire the best guys on the planet to fix the OL coaching and bring in an unquestionably innovative OC.

COMMIT TO TUA. That is the most important factor to Flores and his redemption tour. After we fail to sneak in at 10-7 come out and say Tua is our QB next year and we are going to build this team around him. End the debate. End the speculation. Let Watson go to Carolina or some other team that really has a QB problem. We don't.

Align with Grier and spend whatever money you need to shore up the OL.

Flores is proving to adapt, to keep her team together despite the entire world counting us out. He made many mistakes this off-season and year but he can redeem himself. And have no doubt that he will.

Let's ****ing go!!!
Depends on the finish. As great as this streak has been, we did also have a 7 game losing streak earlier. If we revert he’s still in jeopardy.

A seven game losing streak where we could’ve won 3 and the other 4 were the bills twice, TB away and colts at home

Of course he'll be back, doesn't change the fact that he's not a good head coach though and it's delaying the obvious inevitable.

He had better figure out how to start the season a little faster. Stop experimenting through the first 6-7 weeks. Plus all of the things you said.
