I have had probs with all sound files during the authoring of a dvd. TMpgenc dvd author always says my sound is illegal and cant be used. I've tried ac3, wav, mp3 and mp2. I've tried fixing the sound with besweet, but got nothing.

You might have to try what Max says.Convert the AC3 to a wave file.

I am using free Ac3 tool and it works.I heard besweet is difficult to get right.
 
Ok, I need some assistance with some FTP items. What you'll need is a broswer capable of anonymous ftp as well as a STANDARD ftp client. Who's willing?

Did you burn it and is the sound OK on your player.? That is the question.I used DVD Shrink to remove some extra video but the re-authored file is giving me normal audio on my PC player but no sound on my standalone.I am waiting for you and the other retrievers to make a call on that.I dont want to upload something that the newbees would have trouble with.

Yes, I burned it and got sound just fine.

Yes there will be sound on your PC player but what I want to know if there sound on your standalone PC player ? I think the audio bitrate is different from the others we have done.

Yes, I get sound on my PC. And YES I BURNED IT, and got sound on my standalone DVD player and television. hehe Better? :D

Um, I think 1 seeder with a capped upload is a bad idea. Remember last time when it took about 4 days to get finished? I say lets go with the Steelers game. its worked fine for me on both PC and standalone.
