There going to cry when he’s there at 6 and we trade to 8 then pick Smith. No just having fun.
Nor me.This isn't me..I swear.
100% agree.I am sure they will be good players for whichever team drafts them. I can live with Pitts at 6 but the Dolphins need to draft an offensive lineman or a DE at 18. If the Dolphins draft Pitts at 6, taking Toney at 50 would be fine.
I would love to get either Toney or E. Moore. Pitts if he's there. Atlanta might take him.Kyle Pitts & Kadarius Toney can transform the dolphins pedestrian offense. Forget the running back. Toney is fast as lightning and may be there at 18 !
This is a point I've been hammering in other threads. With 12 personnel to get use out of Pitts AND Gesicki, there won't be a ton of reps for other new wideouts. I'd be more in favour of drafting an X or Z guy in the mid rounds if I go WR than slot. Devonta is a possible exception as he can play anywhere.I think taking both Pitts and Toney would be counter-productive.
If we select Pitts, we are going to run a TON of two tight end sets... you can call Pitts an X receiver if you want, but he's generally going to line up in the slot, or Gesiicki in the slot while the other is in the traditional TE position. In this set, we won't generally have an undersized quick receiver. This is a bully formation.
We'd put Fuller and DVP/Williams out wide to take the safeties deep and then bludgeon you with two big tight ends.
I've been banging the drum for a slot receiver, but if we take Pitts, the equation changes.
The draft is super deep in WRs... if that top 10 pick is a Pitts, then we need to put WR on the back burner until, at least, round three and hit the other positions... find starters. Edge. O Line. Even a RB...This is a point I've been hammering in other threads. With 12 personnel to get use out of Pitts AND Gesicki, there won't be a ton of reps for other new wideouts.
