Gailey cost us the season.

I don’t care one way or the other on Gailey, but he got a no talent offense to average ~25 points a game. It really wasn’t that bad from a total scoring standpoint. Just bad situationally.

He was also 3-3 in the 1st 6 games and played mediocre against the Jets failing to convert a single 3rd down.
He also was not 3-0 in his last 3 starts before being replaced.

Patriots- loss
Bills - loss
Jaguars - win
Seahawks - loss
49ers - win
Jets- win

3- 3 with 2 of the wins coming against the two teams with the worst records in the NFL. The 49ers had a ton of injuries all year.

What a turd job Gailey did this year.
His play calling was way too conservative.
Didn't help we have no RB or WR.
How did we win 10 games.
They need to hit big in the draft and pick a few vets at skilled positions in fa.
What a way to loose out on the playoffs.
If I was Flo , Gailey would be fired on the plane ride back to Miami.
TUA is to blame, horrible QB play, Gailey calls what TUA can perform, when Fitz is in Gailey looks like a genious

This is why I can't imagine why anyone would want Tua as the QB. If Miami wants to be a playoff team, then the main goal should be to win the division. However, they now have to contend with a young rebuilt Buffalo team that just put up 56 points on Miami's so-called #1 Scoring Defense. (Well, to be fair you'd have to subtract the 2 TDs from the punt return and the pick-6.) Allen and the Bills offense are going to score a lot of points (damn I hate saying this!), so if Miami wants to compete with them then they'll need an explosive offense and a QB who can light up the scoreboard. Tua is a ball-control, dink-and-dunk game managing QB, and that isn't going to cut it!
Buffalo has 5 receivers that are better than our #2....and not sure how I'd rank them versus our 1 but they have the best receiver in the game. They have AT LEAST two running backs better than any on our roster. Their QB is good because they invested three years in building around him. Tua sucks right now but Allen was just as bad as a rookie.

You want the Buffalo offense and yet you want to do the exact opposite of what they did which is to build around a young QB and give him the best chance to succeed.

We'll never have the Buffalo offense if we waste draft capital EVERY YEAR on a new QB that could be used to improve the team. How much better would we have looked if even one second or first round skill position player would have been out there for this team?

Fitz IS 3-0 his last three Dolphins starts. And while board members loved pointing out that Fitz was "only" 3-3 at the time of his benching, Tua has finished the season 3-3 in his last 6 starts...with one of those wins actually being Fitz's comeback versus Oakland which still counts as a Tua "win".

Lol, Gailey cost us the season...lol...

Really? All by himself? Not injuries? Not questionable coaching decisiions...Not a truncated season..But Gailey?

How many times has Chan Gailey been fired in his career?
Why did we hire him?

The first 6 games the oline was not playing well. Fitz made lemonade out of lemons

The offense this year didn't have a dimension
Last year it seemed like Miami could convert a 3rd and long a lot more comfortably than this year. They were way more vertical than they were this year. Once the injuries happened the offense became Gase like and 3rd and 10 seemed like 3rd and 10 miles

4 wins, beat the Jets twice and the Jags. These two teams combined for a 3- 29 record this year. Beat a depleted 49er team.

He did spark the Raiders win. Came off the bench against a defense that prepared to face Tua, you see backups have success a lot in these situations. Great play by Gaskins to spin out of the tackle and take a short pass nearly 60 yards. Tremendous luck on the throw to Hollins, but credit for even attempting while getting his head ripped.

Guess what? Injuries will derail most offenses in the NFL. There's only a few with great QBs and great OCs that can reasonably overcome them.

Who did Tua beat of note, and when did Fitz lose a single game this year over an opponent obviously inferior?

So?

Even if true (it isn't) the kid has played 10 games in the league coming off a major injury.

They had injuries last year at WR too but that Miami offense was still better than this year post injuries
