It was the un-coachable Dolphins Defense not Fangio..........

Look where all those players who complained about Fangio are now. They ain't in Miami, they gone. Can't coach players, who don't want to be coached.

Except the Head Coach that enabled it.

When Fangio left, Holland kickin keys, etc, I posted when the HC and defacto OC is running soft practices on one side and Fangio is calling players out and holding them accountable on other side, it creates animosity in the locker room.

The mismatch was never Fangio’s style vs the defensive players. Lot of them were actually Flores’ players who was tuff. The problem was Fangio’s style vs the HC’s soft culture imo.

I think Vic wanted to be here… until he didn’t.

What I mean is, he came in and saw a bunch of lackadaisical, unmotivated, and spoiled children who cared more about money and fame than they did about winning. Even a legendary DC like Fangio couldn’t fix the culture. Why? Because PLAYERS create the culture… not the coaches.

Or he was unable to make the changes that were needed due to the organization.

From my own experience if there is a culture problem with employees it due to the top management. Management allowed that culture to occur. The correct solution would have been to demand the changes needed from the very top (GM/HC) and if any player doesn't get on board, take corrective actions. Once the culture starts to change then many players/employees get on board. It may take dropping the hammer on the Hollands and Ramseys but so what once its fixed its fixed and now the other employees productivity will markedly improve.

Since this was not done, Fangio to his credit said, "He couldn't fix it and he walked". I would have done the same thing in his shoes.

The vaunted Fangio defense that did get sacks and INT's resulted in a playoff loss, and the 23rd scoring defense. 23rd! That. Is. Not. Good!!

However, I'd much rather have a man's man leading our franchise, over the femme man, any day.
Who is the femme man you are talking about?

Determining coaching ability by a coaches clothes and watch is crazy. BB looked like a homeless person most times. I don’t think that affected his coaching abilities at all.
You can tell who the ignoramuses are around here when they carry on about how McDaniel dresses, or his slight stature, and/or make up stupid alterations of his name. Just the sort of thing boys do in Junior High.

Yep. Lends more credence towards my belief that players, not the coaches, create culture.

I mean, why didn’t Fangio yell or call them mean names? That would have surely got the players in line, right?
Agreed. McDaniel just tries to show the players respect, he puts his heart into them. It's on the players to hold themselves accountable.

It was the talent level not the players attitude. If Grier could draft Fanggio would have done wonders. But Srier Gucks!

He doesn't lead, doesn’t communicate well, nor does he hold anyone accountable...those are femme traits from my perspective bro.
What evidence do you have for these claims? How he speaks to the press isn’t how he speaks to the players. Hard Knocks showed that. And what does he do, or not do, to hold players accountable? Got any evidence showing anything?
