Yeah, but I think the point is that it's less important that they're true TE's and more important that they're great at what you ask them to do. It matters that they're elite - whether or not they're a true TE - a Y.

I'd take Gronk over Kelce, but each won multiple SB's as the focal point of the offense.

True, but I think McD wants a Kittle more than an Evan Engram.

Unfortunately Kittle is a lot harder to find and I don't even mean a guy as good as he is, just a legit 2-way TE who can block inline and make plays catching the ball.

Old and doesn't offer much as a receiver and don't see the athletic traits to develop in that area. He blocks pretty well, so there's some value in that.
