Official Heat-Pistons Series Thread!

Yeah, I saw that number on Sports Center. However, the last team to do so was the Pistons in the conference finals LAST YEAR against Indiana. But of course we're not the 2003-2004 Indiana Pacers, so that's just something to look at...

Actually that is wrong and ESPN should be ashamed of themselves....The Pistons did it THIS year in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals down 2-1 against that rag tag Pacers team...

Last year in the Eastern Conference Finals The Pistons won game 3 85 - 78
to take a 2-1 lead.

ESPN sucks.

We'll see. Shaq was a big key tonight. Can he continue that kind of play?? We really need him to score and get that front court in foul trouble.

Have to give Eddie Jones MAJOR props, IMO his play at the end of the game was the reason we won, he's stepped it up for us in the playoffs at crunch time in a big way

I told you the Heat would win this seris and now they took back home court advantage. They are in the drivers seat now. The Pistons don't have an answer for Wade, Nobody does. The Heat can pretty much put this away with a win tomorrow night.

If we manage to win this series, it'll be interesting to see how Wade does with Bruce Bowen guarding him.

Wade used up Bowen in the second meeting in Miami this season.

This series is a long way away from being over, don't get ahead of yoursleves.

Congrats on game 3 but i noticed no one is whining about the officials, maybe since they just about handed you that game in the 4th qtr. I guess Billups needed his nose to be broken to get a foul called and Rasheed needed to be literally flattened by Shaq to get a foul called. Oh well, the Pistons will bounce back tonight and it will be 2-2.

quit your whining

the Heat won fair and square, the Pistons had to play Miami's game which is high-scoring and they couldn't keep up. Wade is unguardable if thats even a word

you guys were whining BEFORE the series and after Game 1 but the last 2 games have been so 1 sided it's a joke. I don't think it cost detroit Game 2 but I do believe it played a major role the other night.

all I said was that Wade didn't get a few calls and that the team had too much rest and those were true

BS......Detroit shot 43 free throws and the difference in free throws between the teams (11) is explained by all the fouling Detroit did to get back in the game.

Shaq was fouled EVERY SINGLE time he caught it.

Even Elden Campbell said after the game: "I am in there to foul him."

ZO fouled out.

Wade was in foul trouble.

E. Jones was in Foul Trouble.

SHAQ had 4.

Laettner got called for a couple of ticky tack fouls.

To even suggest that the refs gave us that game is just stupid.

How bout Lindsey Hunter hand checking up and down the court? He should have fouled out in 3 minutes.

The HEAT kicked the Pistons *** in their house after Chauncey Billups said that they were putting "All their eggs in this game 3 basket."

The Pistons where up 5 when Wade went to the bench...when he came back...they were down 9......

They even got beat by us without our best player in there.

I suggest you delete that "conspiracy" post before everybody thinks you are a fool.

And of course you think that the Heat going to the line 10 times in Game 1 wasn't a joke...because of course...The Pistons never foul.....you are so 1 sided it's a joke.

0:00 End of the 4th Quarter.
0:00 End Game

The Heat shot 18 Free Throws in Garbage time....there is your free throw disparity. The Pistons shot 5 in Garbage time. So the difference was 13 in Garbage time.

SO that means that the Pistons had shot 2 more free throws than the HEAT at the time that the game was over.

The Game was called completely even......a +2 in foul shots for the HOME team at the point when garbage time starts is as fair as you can get.
