How about passing on Drew Brees twice? Let's face it, Miami has had multiple decades of crappy moves by their front office. Last great evaluator of talent....Jimmy Johnson.....!

Omg dude stop exaggerating. We passed on a possible franchise QB and got a perennial Pro Bowl left tackle. Dang. That has to be one of the biggest blunders of the decade
 
Saban passing on Aaron Rodgers for yet another SEC RB who never lived up to the #2 pick... now THAT ONE is monumentally egregious!

It isn't brought up enough, but that one is a total killer. Sure, a lot of teams passed on Rodgers, but that doesn't excuse us for being equally dumb. Taking a RB 2nd overall? Ugh. Adrian Peterson didn't go 2nd and he was a vastly superior prospect to Ronnie.

your implying the long isnt very good? I'd take long over Ryan ANY day! What has ryan done so special so far in his career other than put up henne type numbers?

So yea, basically the Parcells regime was a WASTED three years and we wouldve been better off without him. He totally ****ed us. He trolled the **** out of us. He did a piss poor job of putting this team together.

I dont think he set us back 10 years, but at least 5. Count the three we wasted and then if we can start fresh and get this thing going on the right track starting this year, which of course means trading up and getting the top flight QB we need in the draft, we can turn this thing around in 2 seasons. So it all depends on the next guy. But, Parcells indeed set us back 5 years minimum.

he didnt set us back three years.. All the peices are in place.. all we need is a definite NFL style offensive coordinator, and if we need a QB, then we need a QB.. Thats really it.. aside from the other stuff we already have but can use upgrades over.

Well you know, it's kinda the most important position on the football field. And Miami passed on a potential franchise QB When Miami needed one badly.
