If the GM is not an issue, and the O Line is a major issue that is directly responsible for game-losing plays, who is responsible for the OL?
The O-Line coach?

How about just 1 rookie making a semi-impact? Is that asking too much? Apparently for some of you it is.
Like I've said, his last offseason has HORRIBLE considering all the resources he had. Also, the reason he had all that money is because none of the guys he drafted were worth resigning.
So are you saying the supposition behind the 2013 draft class is that Ireland decided to draft players which will take 2-3 years to develop? I thought he was drafting to win in 2013 because he knew his job was on the line. I guess he knew something we didn't. I don't have a problem with this strategy in a general sense. I just have a hard time believing Jeff had the long term view going into this draft. If our 2013 class produces some gems outside of Jordan, it feels more like luck than savvy.
Be careful to use this as a measuring stick. Last year the 49rs didn't start a single rookie and did pretty damn well.
I blame the staff more for the issues up front. They should have run it MORE and allowed them to plow ahead. Asking them to perform a ZBS has been silly. Plus throwing it 65% of the time has put undue pressure on them.
BTW, wasn't Joe supposed to bring an explosive offense with him? How he skates by in all of this amazes me.
I want Ross to clean house. But, if I actually had to choose who goes, I'd pick Philbin and his entire coaching staff. IMO, Philbin lives in a fantasy world. He has his perfect little system all mapped out, but the only way it will work is if all of the players are a 100% fit with his system. When things don't go exactly as planned, which is usually the case in the "real world", he's lost. Things may have worked out better for him if he had hired someone other than his pal Sherman.
If Ireland stays, he needs to have an experienced "co-worker" to assist him on draft day; especially in the early rounds! Make it a "GM-by-committee" position with different areas of expertise covered.
If you are pro "Fireland" Please at least read my thread before giving me bad rep or a "thumbs down" i feel like i make some valid points in his defense here.
