Practice squad and roster moves

Very true. He would be a fool to turn down any offer at this point IMHO. It just makes sense that he would return.

If I were an agent I would suggest to wait a few days first to see what offers are out there. Unless of course I were sure my client had no chance at a 53 man roster spot, then you have to be cautious not to wait too long for a better offer and end up going unclaimed all together.

I would think Michael Sam has had practice squad offers so far, but other teams are likely considering a roster spot.

Remember the troll who assured us that the Patriots had the three best quarterbacks in the division? High comedy as Bellicheat gave away heavy legged Ryan Mallett for a conditional 7th that maxed at a 6th and presumably no one in the league was willing to part with much more than that. I'm recalling the high frequency poster who came on here before the '11 draft who loved Mallett and then raged against Miami when the Dolphins didn't take him and then became a Pats super fan instantly. Probably a relative.

@AbramsonPBP: #Dolphins practice squad: Sam Brenner, Matt Hazel, D'Aundre Reed, David Hinds, Tony Hills, Seth Lobato, Lowell Rose, Garrison Smith, Tommy Streeter, Jacob Maxwell

I think Streeter was signed because he is local and fills a practice spot. I expect him gone shortly...

He had only 1 catch in preseason, but it was for a TD. He didn't even play in Game 4. Means he probably wasn't even bubble material or was hurt.

People will like this guy just because he is from "the U", but I doubt he ever plays a down for the Phins.

Hinds was pretty good at FAU.

I would still swap out Lobato for another qb.

Lowell Rose is a new name for me. Looks like a corner that's bounced around.

Hinds is a LB who was apparently in Miami's camp in '13. I'm not recalling him at all.

Honestly some of these moves strike me as irrelevancy at its finest. I'm happy we kept Brenner's, Hazel's and Smith's rights.

I just noticed Connor Shaw was released by the Browns. I think he would be a nice PS QB. I never thought he was an ideal NFL QB but he did some good things in preseason.

Very happy to see Hazel on the practice squad, was a little worried we were going to lose him.

Agree. There are some teams who are WR hungry that could use him on the active roster. IMHO two years ago he's active ofr us on Sundays, but we finally have enough good players at the position we can develop a kid like him.
