thanks tucker and spray mucus ............. my first point of view on things was to train everday like i am now and then go on 1 of those supliments for like a month or so just to see the affect and stuff it can have on my body and see how much of a push it gets but im hoping i can just hold off and be all natural

No problem... Use a good Multi Vitamin and some Whey protein. and that's all you really need as far as suplamentation goes. if you need a wake me up, drink some tea or coffee, but that's ONLY if needed.

And make sure you take at least 2 rest days... the body need to recover!

Lift
Rest
Nutrition

it's a 3 piece puzzle...if your missing one piece it will never be complete :D

I train 4-5 times a night and have been thinking about taking protein/creatine to continue getting bigger.

I'm 6'4 195lbs but have a big frame and could carry much more mass.

How old were you when you started taking protein? I'm 18 and have been training for a round a year to 15 months... in that time I've naturally put on around 30-40lbs, but some people have recommended that I don't take it because I'm young and still growing.

I hope you meant 4-5 times a week. Don't take the creatine - waste of money. All you are adding is water. Pure Whey isolate protein is best - 20-26 grams every two hours (alternate meal and drink). Aminos, good vitamins, train THE RIGHT WAY, and lots of sleep (little known fact - your body produces the most growth hormone when you sleep.

Someone may want to tell Brian Roberts of the Orioles that Creatine is a waste of money. He may not agree with you seeing that he has already doubled his highest single season HR output in just 32 games after a rigorous offseason training program supplemented solely by Creatine. :shakeno:

Creatine is about the best product (legal product) you can use to gain some quick power.
As many have said you can't solely depend on any one product however.
The bottom line is hard work is what makes you grow. The supplements will just enhance your results not make them.... but to say a proven supplement is worthless is rediculous.

andro, if done safe and if you know what you are doing and putting in your body is just fine...but i wouldnt use it unless you are over at least 21 yrs old...and although andro is a derivative of steroids, andro is still nothing even near what steroids are...

Andro is still an exogenous source of testosterone, which means that your endogenous source of testosterone will be shut off due to a negative feedback system.

You will end up with the same side affects as anabolic steroids. The mechanism of action ends in the same place. You increase your testosterone levels 400 fold.

You stay on it, and your endogenous source of testosterone will not be allowed to kick back on. Therefore, they will atrophy, and the result is a condition known as hypogonadism.

So, if you want to take andro, you have to be willing to accept small nuts as a result.

EAS products are good stuff. I took Phosphagen HP in the past. The summer after I graduated high school back in 1996, I was taking creatine and working out religiously for those three months before college started. I packed on 20 lbs of muscle during that time just on the creatine alone. My one rep max in the bench press went up 50 lbs during this time as well. The only drawback I found on this stuff is that it made me piss like a race horse.

I've tried the Myoplex Plus, and that stuff is as thick as cake batter. You almost have to eat it with a spoon as opposed to drinking it. Thick, thick, thick!! It's got a good taste, but it is hard to get down at times.

The Precision Protein is good stuff. I had the powder, but I see that they have the ready to drink bottles. Twelve bottles for $54 though? That's some damn expensive protein. The powder is probably a lot cheaper.

EAS is crap now that bill sold his business years ago. When they first started it was a good company with very good products. Now that his business was sold you can purchase eas products from 7-11 liquor store. There are better companies out there with better products.

If you do buy any EAS products make sure its the old label (White bottle with light colored purple brand name). Thats the old stuff which was very good.

Actually you could use the old brand called "GKG". It's glutamine and its better than Creatine. You dont retain any water like creatine and your pump last for days.

This is pretty cool. I'm a Myoplex addict...I use Creatine plus for muscle development, Myoplex Plus and Precision Protein. I'm really happy that my favorite player is endorsing my favorite supplement.

I met Bill Phillips about 2 years ago. He's a really good guy, he knows what he's on about and that sold me on his product.

Acually Protein, Glutamine and vitamins are all you really need to gain decent amount of muscle. I have been lifting for 10 Years. Im 6'00, 250 lbs with a bench of 495 lbs. I tried everything inculding the juice. The juice was the best but if someone isnt going to go that rout I recommend Protein (designer whey), Glutamine (GKG if they can still find it) and alot of water...:)

Yeah too bad he sold the business.. His stuff was was really good when he ran the show (Quality Control). I swore by his stuff. One day I emailed them and asked them about the rumors that they went public. They denied it and now low and behold they sold the business...

There was a never ending supply of Clomid floating through our locker room in college for the guys hitting the juice. They called them "nut savers".
