Saban “I hate it...”

There seems to me there is enough talent in the 1st thru 2nd rounds that just going BPA will be a good plan for our selections in the front of the draft.

What I am more curious about is the middle and back of the draft. Will we get improvement in our depth from those rounds? I think that will be as important to the teams growth as whoever our first 6 or 7 picks are.

Unless there is an exceptional FA available without too high a price, we will probably wait a week or two then sift through those available FA's that might be a significant improvement over who they replace and that is where we will make our play.

Then there are the UDFA's and a possible positive surprise or two. I have no idea who they may be, but there seems to be one or two who get into the league far beyond anyone's initial expectations.

This will be an interesting and entertaining draft for me. I hope it shows in the teams performance next year.

We ought to place a sign over the players entrance that is like one I saw in High School. It said "Time will pass, will you?" That ought to help the players get there heads on straight!!!

So what exactly is your plans then? Lol. Draft another 3rd tier QB in the second round?
I think it is likely that Herbert is there at #5, so that is my plan. If he isn't, he isn't. What can you do.

I'm not trading away multiple firsts on a "roll of the dice".

Fair enough. I was under the impression you didn't like Herbert, Love or Tua at 5.

I don't think a GM can think like that especially with such an important piece. If you love someone you have to get him and not just say "oh well". Lot's of losing that way imo. You live or die by these picks and you either build up the team or swing and miss...god knows we have done a lot of the latter.

I would rather they get their boy if they want him than see who falls to us.

Where will Cam go? … and Rivers ...and Brady

What is Brady doing? … unhappy with his contract numbers (not going to get them from NE) Has every record any QB could really want … sounds like he wants to get paid ...

Does he make a play for the new Team/stadium in Vegas? … the new stadium in LA? … goes out with a splash and some hoopla? …. or sits quietly in NE with a team on the decline? … retires?

Anyway if he heads to the casinos in Vegas or the beaches in California … who is he grooming? Surely the Chargers are going to make a play for a QB and the Raiders would have to unload Carr….. do either of these teams make a play for Tua so Brady can be his sensei … does Tua become "grasshopper"? LMAO

If any of these stones are thrown into the pond .... how do the ripples affect us? C'mon guys/gals play along … because it will affect our draft

Good point although I don't know how much of a "sensei" Brady wants to or will be.

Honestly, I don't, but reality is that's the cost of getting a QB.

I don't "like" paying $45.00 for a steak dinner, but when I want one, price is kind of irrelevant.

I don't see anyone here that I "love".
