With the game on the line, Manningham made the big catch and Welker didn't, game over.
 
I wonder if he was dreaming about playing on the Giants team during the game like he was the Pats when he played for us....@s$ midget!
 
He should have caught the pass, plain and simple. He's a NFL reciever, he got two hands on it no excuse to drop it.
 
Wes betrayed us after we brought him up and gave him a shot. Glad to see him choking on his porn stache.

good thing is, new england is on its way down and miami i believe is finally on its way up. With brady and belichick gettin older and older and losing superbowl after superbowl, u have to wonder how long the pats are going to dominate this division and get back to the superbowl.
 
I despise Welker more than any Non-Jet player and I'm not going to hide my joy about him pretty much losing the game and becoming the Jackie Smith of his era. I will admit that he's a very good WR. The problem is that the media and some on this board try to classify him as elite. An elite WR makes that catch even though it was a little tough. That's just the facts.
 
Good players make the catch in big spots....and great statistical players make all the catches in the regualr season

I don't care how many drops of Welker you look at, we lost on that deal. I don't know if we got completely ripped off, but I would rather have Welker over that 2nd round pick.
 
I can understand the dislike for Welker but regardless of that dropped pass, Welker has accomplished great things in New England. It happens to the best of them just asked Marshall.
 
It's amazing that something happened in this game, other than the Giants winning, that made Dolphins fans everywhere smile. I live in NE, I can't tell you how much crap I get from that trade.
 
hmmmm.... I think we got great value for Welker. Too bad we screwed the pooch on what we did with those picks.
