No he did not he was on board with Tua at draft time.
No he was not. He wanted Justin Herbert. It's clear as day that he wanted Herbert we've heard it a thousand times through the media whoever is leaking in or whatever it doesn't matter. Flores and Tua, had a huge problem. Tua and Flores had an awful relationship. Flo, also had an awful relationship with Grier. Flo, also refused to draft RBs. Flo, released better O-lineman that what we have now. Flores, was a garbage coach. He was the worst game manager I've ever seen.

No he wanted to trade for Watson and his 22 alligations.

It’s even more weird that you’re just making that up.

Reported last year all over the media.

"“Numerous personnel men and coaches around the league have heard, dating back to last season, that Flores would have preferred to select Justin Herbert over Tagovailoa"

"Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported Flores prefers "bigger, strapping pocket passers" and that "numerous" people around the league have heard Flores wanted Herbert, who isn't necessarily a pocket passer but does fit the size bill at 6'6" and 237 pounds."

Regardless of how you look at it, Tua and Flo had a very poor relationship.
That doesn't bode well for our team. Get rid of Tua or support him. It's that simple.
Yes it became toxic. One had to go and Flo was toxic with a lot more people.

And there was just another report this morning that Flores and Grier were both on the same page when it came to drafting Tua.

Hmmmm, which report are we to believe?

The idea that your head coach, who has significant influence over all personnel decisions, is banging the table for Herbert….and the GM, who says he drafts the players his head coach wants, ignores him and drafts Tua is ****ing preposterous. This was the biggest franchise-altering decision in years. Grier just gave Flores a 5-year contract a year earlier, watched him get plaudits everywhere for winning 5 games with a torn down roster, and now suddenly he’s going to ignore his wishes on the most important draft pick in over a decade? Sure.

Not to mention all of the Belichick-Saban connection behind the scenes with Tua.

Can we compromise and say that coaching and talent acquisition are equally important? You can't have real success in the NFL without both.
