I like willie pulling maine here. Maine did his job, kept us close but with the pitch count rising you cant second guess yourself here. Let Maine leave with the lead and leave your lead in the hands of one of baseballs best pen's. With the off day after game two and carrying 9 relievers you can get away with that

By the way that was one incredibly dumb play by valentin trying to turn 2 on that force play. What in the heck was he thinking?

Reyes leadoff BB tp start bottom 7.

He scores over 60% of the time he draws a leadoff walk. Guess he took some ridilin between innings.
 
Dukie never swings at the first pitch...what was he thinking actually doing so there?
