Tony Romo sends warning to the rest of nfl (that includes us) about the Pats

Will we crush these false predictions by Romo? FYI, Romo has been right about a lot of things he has said.

Dolphins related, specially with our game in a few days.
not that this is really important but do the patriot skill players put a fear into anyone. in my fantasy draft last week a patriot wasnt picked until the 8th or 9th rd (and my league is all experts, lol).. but seriously i do think the patriots need to get better skill players

Jones didn’t receive anywhere near the hype Tua had, pre-hip injury…both coming from the same team and system. The only reason Jones is getting hype now is ESPN/sports media suckle at the NE teat. Jones has looked pretty solid from what I’ve seen…but crowning him is a bit early. In Mac’s own words, there’s a reason he was Tua’s backup.

What you saw last year in Tua was a QB that was nowhere near 100% coming back from a devastating injury, wasn’t comfortable in a new offense, didn’t receive 1st team practice until later in the season, and didn’t mesh well with the OC...and still managed to put up decent play and stats for a rookie. All that has been remedied. Of course he needs to prove something this year…he‘s a young, highly drafted QB, whose rookie season didn’t live up to the media’s hype, even if there were direct, legitimate causes that many of the media completely ignored.

The difference in Tua so far, and it’s early, is night-and-day compared to last year. Nobody, even his strongest critics in the media, have disagreed.
Im not crowning Jones.

Thats for the Romos and Collingsworths to do. I am suspect of all Alabama QBs to be clear.

Let me put it to you this way. If Watson was playing for Miami next Sunday, I would not be very optimistic regarding the Pats chances. Watson torched the Patriots last outing and the Dolphins are loaded at WR. I do not see that from Tua. but as I stated earlier he needs to prove himself and maybe he will.

Any team coached by BB should never be overlooked or underestimated. ****ing Brady is over-rated. Cam was a fill in. BB got a guy who can do it all physically, smart enough to grasp the offense, and willing to be coached. It's going to come down to execution. Jones could be the next Brady.

This game should be in our favor because of a rookie facing this D. This will not be an easy division going forward.

Tony Romo is a smart man, and is 100% spot on. The QB was the missing piece, and now the Patriots have a guy who can run the offense they want to run.

This team will already be a handful, and will become even tougher to deal with once Gilmore returns.

He does need to prove in real games…but if you consider his play last year, and look at how he’s looking this year, he is absolutely NOT the same athlete and QB, there’s plenty reasons to expect a jump. He’s 1-0 against the Pats…Mac’s 0-0 in the NFL and was not a highly touted prospect coming out of Bama. You didn’t hear any hype at all on him until NE drafted him.. They‘re not on the same level.

But if Bill manages to have Mac game-manage to the level Brady did his first few years, and if we can’t stop the run, we’re in for a long one. I don’t have any concerns about Tua being good enough to beat them again. He is leagues closer to the pre-injury Tua that earnestly deserved the praise he was getting. Vegas has this one as virtually a pick-‘em. Taking whole teams, including coaches into account, if Tua plays like he has in the pre-season, we certainly have the edge.

2 minute drill they can have their Mac and 4 RBs

I will take Tua and Waddle, Wilson, Parker, Geisiki, Gaskins or Ahmed

He was atrocious every other year. He started games in ten different seasons and was bad to terrible in all but two. I'm not gonna disagree that he could play well in spurts, but when a guy is bad 80 percent of the time, it shouldn't be acted like it was no accomplishment to coax a good season out of him.

Sure, my point was only that it wasn't necessarily some New England magic since it also happened once outside of NE and I believe they also won 10 games.

Not saying he was a great QB by any stretch.
