trade rumor: Starks and 2012 draft pick to bengals for palmer. rumor...

miami's biggest trade chip not named long or wake is not starks...its kendall langford...

the thing is Starks has 2 years left on his contract at a fair amount. Langford's contract expires after "this" year and he'll want a good hefty raise.

Teams may want Starks for that reason, the extra year. Remember Starks is a great player in his own right, plus the extra year without a new contract negotiation

Wouldn't it be funny if the "negotiations" are really like this:

Jeff Ireland: "Ok, this is my final offer...Randy Starks and next year's 2nd round pick for Carson."

Mike Brown: "For the last ****ing time, Jeff. CARSON PALMER IS NOT FOR SALE! That ginger **** can rot in hell, and so can you."

Jeff Ireland: "You're breakin my balls, Mike. How about we toss in Tyrone Culver?"

Mike Brown: (click)

(Ireland dials phone)

enduro: "Moshi moshi?"

Jeff Ireland: "Yo! Whassaaaaaaaaaa!"

enduro: "Nada dude, you get that fruit basket I sent ya?"

Jeff Ireland: "Great dates. How's the wife?"

enduro: "Ex-wife. She's a *****."

Jeff Ireland: "Is she a prostitute?"

enduro: "Why do you always ask that? How's the QB search goin?"

Jeff Ireland: "Mike Brown's being a dick, but I've got him right where I want him. It'll be Randy Starks and a high pick next year."

enduro: "Sweet, I'll go tell Finheaven."

Jeff Ireland: "Are any of them prostitutes?"

Muy comico!

Might not happen till October though at the deadline

Palmer is retired and will remain retried... Bengals are not gonna trade him..Mike Brown is not going to reward him for what he has done to their franchise..

what did he do ? all he said wasi want to be traded just like ocho did and he was rewarded . lmao he will reward one player but not the other ?

Well stated. /sarcasm

Anyhow, Nublar's in la la land on what he thinks Merling is worth. There are starters in this league who don't fetch a third or fourth round pick, to say nothing of an injured backup with character concerns who didn't even play well when he played. It's a typical fan self-delusion where because we want to feel something other than bad about having spent a high second round pick on Merling people will convince themselves that he might have value to someone else so when he does leave we can at least feel somewhat good about it.

The only problem is it ignores reality.

naaa i like your avatar its pretty kewl lol

Missed Ron Mexico....

Don't worry enduro I will bring this thread back up when the trade dead line comes and goes.I'll just prove once again you have no inside info.

How come you refuse to answer my question as to who the two big free agents the Dolphins had signed and sealed before free agency started according too you.

By then I hope Stephen Ross is smart enough to put a freeze on all this regime's assets.

What would be the point of bringing him in that late be? At that point in time, it would have been 10-11 months since he had been on an NFL football field. The season is half over, including our bye week being gone, leaving him no time to learn the playbook. He would have 2 months to get into playing shape and learn the playbook, all the while attending all team meetings and studying game tape for the upcoming week. It makes absolutely no sense...

Im from Cincinnati.....Palmer is a poor mans Kyle Orton at this point in his career. No pocket awareness or mobility, too many dumb picks, not a good leader......wait am I describining Henne?

just put the tape of the cincy game in. henne better minus not getting in endzone....until it mattered.

I'm really interested in Landry Jones. Stick with Henne this year, trade up and draft Jones next year.
