If Tua truly prefers Miami, he needs to get smart and "develop an issue" with his hip so he drops to 5. If not, he may end up in Cincinnati or on a Dolphin team missing assets. We screwed up our tanking for you, Tua, because we have an excellent coach. If you want to be part of this, you need to tank for us.

Per tweet from Laura Rutledge:

Important timeline for Tua: Docs say hip is healed but there's an important post combine scan in a month to make sure there's no cartilage build-up. Recent scan showed no build-up but 4 mo mark post surgery is when it could happen. Clean scan = final assurance of long term health.

Just tell Cincinnati when you interview with them that you want be a Dolphin if that's the case. Just be honest.

I would err with the player that played the best the longest. Tua had a college career of excellence while Burrow had an amazing year.

Medical is the most important factor here, imo. Burrow has shown you he can take hits and keeps going.
Tua gets hurt by grass..

Further, you have to consider where the Bengals currently are protection wise.
Any Qb that comes in is likely going to get exposed to serious pressure and will take hits.

Who do you feel more comfortable suriving a season of that? Tua or Burrow?

Missing assets ....

We have 4 picks in the 1st two round of next years draft as well as whatever we end up with this year. Our draft assets will be just fine, and lets not even mention the money.

Go up and get our boy, Grier

QBs could just decline interview and in Tua’s case medical checks with teams he doesn’t want to play for.

Isn't every team in the top five pretty weak protection wise?

Isn't every team in the top five pretty weak protection wise?

Does every team have the resources (picks and money) to theortically drasticaly improve that weakness?
Also, your question to my question doesn't answer the question.

Probably will occur one day after the draft. I can see the writing on the wall, we draft him, Cartlidge build up, we don’t draft a full clean bill of health

Burrow 9 not 9.38

who the bleep cares about Chris Simms

Hands make a Big difference in a wet or cold climate - it is about ball security

Not just tossing it

There is no evidence to support this. Brett favre has huge hands and is #1 with most career fumbles.

Patrick Mahomes hand size is 9.25"

Kerry Collins has 10" hands and is #1 for single season fumbles by a QB with 23 in 2001 with the Giants.
