I think this nails itSome people just say things to try to support their argument, when in reality it doesn't matter. Let's say Tua had beat a team like Jacksonville or Houston in the first round of the playoffs and then lost to the Chiefs, Ravens or Bills in the 2nd round. Do we really think the people who keep saying Tua isn't this or that because he's 0-1 in the playoffs would change their tune if he were 1-1? Would people who are saying he's not worth the market rate really turn and say pay him $55 million per year because he's 1-1?
The imaginary line they have developed around this narrative will simply move and or adjust to the next metric.
