I'm just so impressed with Grier right now

Thanks, I wrote itThat is a great article and sums up my feelings to the tee.
If I didnt feel wanted I'd get the hell out and find a place where they DO want me.
Love my Dolphins but they are ****ing it up yet again.
Pick my post all you like.... It does not change what I said.
The premise was that he never played in KC at the level he is playing at now in Miami
I showed you that he did in 2018.
you can say he played other seasons in KC less effective... Does not change the fact that he was just as good in 2018 as he was the last 2 years in Miami
Take as much time as you need to process that one thing.
Is yards the only thing you are considering?
Because he has had seasons where he had more touchdowns, seasons where he had more yards per catch.
Yes. IMO, it's 2-3 years, but only with Tua as the realistic starter. I don't see how the Dolphins would even consider going with any other QB at least for the next 2-3 years with this team and this coach unless another established top-tier QB who fit Miami's current system became available.BDizzle
I guess the question is in regards to the window itself?
Hill is on the wrong side of 30 and has said he will retire when his contract is up.
So based on that... Do we really have a window?
Tua is signed for this season... So they can let him play out his contract. Beyond that, is there a window without re-tooling?
We did just draft a young RB with nice speed and a couple of nifty receivers that could help in a couple of years... But they are not guaranteed.
Mostert is old. Hill is aging
So I ask you... Do we have a window beyond this season?
Hold that thought - we will revisit it in the coming weeks.I'm just so impressed with Grier right now![]()
As good as Hill and Waddle are, I still say I might prefer a combo of Waddle, another wr and a younger version of Kelce.
Why are we singing Grier's praises? I don't see anything new on the Tua contract topic. Did I miss it?I'm just so impressed with Grier right now![]()

What is your plan if you get your wish and Tua somehow gets out of Miami?I'm just so impressed with Grier right now![]()
Because the current system hasn't won anything. If it fails again to go deep into playoffs, you need to question the scheme and the QB it was built for.IMO, this is about getting the Dolphins to a Super Bowl within the current window. The only way you realistically can do that is by extending Tua.
For all the doubters who say he is a product of the system, that's fine, but if that's the case, why on Earth would the Dolphins let the perfect QB for their current system get away?
Tua within McD's system is a hand-in-glove perfect fit (O.J. reference incoming in 5...4...3...2...)
If the system was built for Tua they would have fixed the offensive line.IMO, this is about getting the Dolphins to a Super Bowl within the current window. The only way you realistically can do that is by extending Tua.

Ridley/Hopkins.... Stop... neither are Hill and Hopkins has lost a step or two... (Still good.. no longer dominating.) Cook? Never was in the same class as Tyreek... Allen is good... Never Tyreek good... Allen is now old.... Smith and brown are good... Nobody would take them over Hill and Waddle
I said SF skill players are better than ours... .So not sure why you posted them.... (Fail)
I would take Hill and Waddle over Chase and Higgins
I would take Hill and Waddle over Jefferson and Addison
Metcalf is my favorite player in the NFL... but I would not take Metcalf and Lockett over Hill and Waddle
I stand by what I said... We are top 3 in the NFL in skill positions around the QB
Your statement. Suggestion. Put it as your signature. If will save you having to repost the same thing over and over againBecause the current system hasn't won anything. If it fails again to go deep into playoffs, you need to question the scheme and the QB it was built for.
Well I am because he has yet to materialize the next unreasonably high "market value" contract for Tua. This would just cripple the team later down the road and intuitively I feel in a couple years many fans could be calling for Grier's head if Tua fails. It's Grier's job to have the foresight to see beyond this coming up season and the next.. having the teams best interest at heart and paying Tua market value does not appear to be wise. Why are we singing Grier's praises? I don't see anything new on the Tua contract topic. Did I miss it?
He doesnt like Tua.
