Role-play time....no bud, I disagree with this on many levels.
Tua should not be instructing his agent to “ get as much money as possible”
**** that, that’s BS, instruct the agent to work with the team and be involved in the negotiation
If he’s taking this stance that you are suggesting then he can **** off, because to me that’s a serious red flag and someone who isn’t thinking the way he should.
I dont think Tua is that person, but if we are playing the what if game and he is that type.. then I would be ready to scrap the table and let him play out his fifth.

Tua's Agent talking to Chris Grier after Hurts new Deal a few months ago. "Hurts got 55 mil per year. We want 55 mil and 1 dollar."

Grier "Tuas been relatively injury prone and Hurts also took the Eagles to a Super Bowl. What about 45 mil per year, that's what Mahomes makes, do you think Tua is 10 million per year better than Patrick Mahomes?"

Agent "Okay, we can kinda understand that, let's keep negotiating..."

Goff gets his new deal...
Agent "Tua was just as good as Goff last year, Goff got 53 Mil per year. How about we meet around that number?"

Grier, with Ross whispering in the background "No, 45 mil is our offer, Tua will be paid like a Franchise QB at 45 per year. Lots of QBs are making 45, Mahomes, Cousins, Murray, Watson.... oh and Josh Allen, remind me, how many times has Tua beat Josh Allen?"

Agent to Tua "Yea, this isn't going well, maybe you should make a statement about being paid at this year's spending level, becuase the Dolphins want to pay you like it's 2022 offseason and not 2023."

Que Tuas, "Market is the Market" speech.

Trevor Lawrence gets paid.....
Agent to Grier, "OK WTF, TUA IS ALOT BETTER THAN LAWRENCE!"

Grier "He can play on his rookie deal or take the new deal at 45 per....."

Ross heard in the background "Hey guys do you know Dak Prescott might be a Free Agent next year!"

Tua's Agent....
