there is no way the jets upgrade that the dolphins win 5 games unless they win them out of the division, they are the least talented team on the AFC side, buff, jests, and New England are losses. They may win 2 games the whole year if talents the denominator.

Jets hired an idiot coach who is going to ruin Sam Darnold and use the offense in the least effective way possible. Bills still have Josh Allen who couldn't hit water falling out of a boat. The Patriots still suck in Miami.

Maybe you are unfamiliar with Miami’s track record with retread QB’s? They have tried this numerous times and the closest they have ever come to success was with Pennington. All the others were unmitigated failures, including some really talented players like Trent Green and Daunte Culpepper. Of course, people said the same thing about Ray Lucas as I am now hearing Fin fans say about Tyrod. Lucas used to beat us too. How did that work out in Miami again? Tyrod is a lot closer to Ray Kucas then he is to Pennington.

you're implying we love one of the rookies. Which if we do, we still start the rookie in a Flynn/Wilson type situation.. It's nice to enter camp with a vet in the room

We lost our leading running back, our leading receiver, our quarterback, both defensive ends, and our 2nd best lineman. Now how exactly are we not the worse team in the AFC ?

Gore wasn’t the best running back on the team. Tannehill is awful, so Tyrod is an upgrade. Wake and Quinn are not that big of losses. Baker, McMillan, Howard and Fitzpatrick all have another year of experience. Grant and Wilson will be back. Drake will actually get some carries. Ballage showed something in limited carries last year. And the coaching staff will actually be competent. .

For the love of all that is good and just, Tyrod is no upgrade! He is at best the same production as Tannehill. Tannehill IS moving on whether we sing Taylor or not! Stop deluding yourself!
Gore had much better production than Drake last year. Behind our OL and in our offense last year, Gore was indeed our best RB.

2016 Tyrod was 19th in passing dvoa and tannehill, in his “breakout, superstar season” was 25th.
2015 Tyrod was 8th in dvoa and tannehill 27th
They aren’t close. Tannehill was/is really really bad and the rest of the nfl could see that.
Gore was slow and gase using him as the number 1 rb was another of his countless dumb moves.

You were the one that started spewing off names. I dont need to say ballgame is a good talent but if he can only run left were screwed. Only having 2 good cover people were going to get roasted. Having undersized linebackers playing a lot of snaps isnt going to be good for future seasons. If they want Baker and kiki to last they better limit their reps. But a smart coach knows this.
