Undervalued Players

69. Rich Lapham OT Boston College 6'8" 322lbs.
The 6-foot-8, 327-pound offensive lineman is the nephew of former Bengals offensive lineman Dave Lapham, a Melrose native who played for Cincinnati from 1974 until 1983 (and then for New Jersey in the USFL) before becoming a Bengals radio analyst. In addition, BC remains the gold standard for turning out offensive linemen.
It’s added up to quite the resume for the New Hampshire native, who is projected at this point to be a mid- to late-round pick in this year’s draft.
“[There's a] great coaching staff at Boston College,” Lapham said. “My offensive line coach, Sean Devine, has been really helpful, and through the prep for what we would do at Boston College, he’d would almost treat it the same way at the combine — go up [to the board] and draw the play, so we were familiar with it. Stuff like that. I credit him for a lot of the situations and the last couple of years that has gotten me ready.
Lapham, who suffered an injury to his left kneecap this past season, said he will not be working out this weekend at the NFL scouting combine, instead holding off until April.

72. Shareece Wright CB Southern California 5'11" 185lbs.
Wright only started one year at USC. In 2008 he suffered a hairline facture of the neck after the first two games and that ended that season. In 2009 was declared academically ineligible which held him out, but to his credit he worked hard and got his eligibilty back for the bowl game and started. In 2010, he finished the year with 73tkls., including 7TFLs, and a team high 10 pass deflections with 2 fumble recoveries. During his career at USC he recorded 127tkls., 10.5 TFL, 3.5 sks., 15 pass deflections and 4 fumble recoveries. He made 17 career starts. Wright has the athleticism and instincts to become a very good CB.

73. Vincent Brown WR San Diego State 5'11" 195lbs.
During his four years at SDSU, he compiled 209 receptions, 3,110 yards and 23 touchdowns, including 10 of those touchdowns during his senior year. Brown had 6 100 receiving yds. performances during his senior season, including a 165yd. record breaking performance in the Poinsettia Bowl. Brown has good initial burst off the snap and the speed to pull away from defenders in the open field. He has good hands and isn't afraid to stretch out in front of defender to make the difficult catch. Brown is a competitive player who is a willing blocker.

74. Orlando Franklin OG Miami 6'7" 312lbs.
Pretty much consensus opinon that Franklin will be moved from LOT to either ROT or OG. Having sat out 2005 and 2006 season, Franklin is older than the average rookie. Although some see this as a determent, I think the added maturity as an asset.

Strengths

Big brute, who can play ROT or OG. Has played LOT in college and may be able to back up at that position as well. Really gets some pop in the run game, and is able to engulf college DEs in pass pro. Plays with vigor and determination. Is still learning the position and has some upside left. Did a nice job at the collegiate level at LOT in 2010. Versatility is a major plus. Coachable and has gotten better every year. Has the size, raw talent, and demeanor to possibly develop into something special in the right program.
Weaknesses

A man without a known pro position. ROT may be his best slot, but he hasn't really been tested there. Can play LOG too, but he has a spotty playing resume. Doesn't appear to have the feet to remain at LOT. Lacks pass pro technique. Overaged.
Projection

3-4th rounder.

75. Dominik Riley OG Memphis 6'5" 310lbs.
2010 CONFERENCE USA FOOTBALL SECOND TEAM (COACHES): OL-Dominik Riley, Sr., Memphis, has been selected All-Conference USA Second Team for the 2010 college football season as selected by the league's 12 head football coaches. Riley, a preseason All-C-USA honoree, started at right guard all 10 of the games he played in this year, and has made 32 consecutive starts on the Tiger offensive line. Riley worked 423 offensive plays this season and is a leader on and off the field for the Tiger offensive line. He has participated on more than 80 percent of the offensive plays in seven of the 10 games this season. For his community service and academic excellence, Riley was a finalist for the Wuerffel Trophy and the ARA Sportsmanship Award, and was named to the C-USA All-Academic Team last week.

I really like Vincent brown. I've compared him to derrick mason before but I also see Chris chambers. He is 5'11" and has 33" arms! Are you kidding! He also has huge hands, over 10" which is ridiculous for his size. He doesn't have that "long" speed but he can still get deep on a defense. I think he'll make a pro bowl or two and have a long successful career. I think any team would be lucky to have him including the fins

76. Clint Boling OG Georgia 6'4" 310lbs.
Overall:
Played every offensive line position at Georgia except center --- Could play tackle in a pinch but ideal fit at the next level will probably come inside at guard --- A battle-tested veteran of college wars with the talent to enjoy a long pro career and compete for a starting job --- Should at the very least be a quality swing backup.
From National Football Post:
A tall, longer guard prospect who lacks ideal girth but possesses good length and some natural bend for his size when asked to sit into his stance in the run game. Is a real scrapper inside who plays until the whistle, loves to finish blocks and exhibits a mean streak. Really seems to get under the skin of opposing linemen as the game wears on. Exhibits good initial quickness out of his stance, takes a quick zone step, understands angles and can consistently get his feet around and seal defenders away from the football. Looks comfortable at the second level, as well, and can drop his pad level and chop down defenders in space..

Exhibits a good first step out of his stance in pass protection. Is a natural athlete who can redirect cleanly and looks balanced sliding his feet in space. Really improved his overall pad level off the snap this past season. Does a much better job sitting into his stance, getting his hands on defenders initially off the edge and anchoring on contact. However, lacks the range needed to consistently reach speed off the corner as a tackle and looks limited to a guard-only role.

Impression: Has experience at both guard and tackle, but looks more like a guard to me. Works really hard inside in the run game and has the type of athleticism to mirror in pass protection. Improved his overall bend and leverage out of his stance as a senior and looks like a guy who could mature into a potential starter with some time inside.

77. Owen Marecic FB/LB Stanford 6'0" 248lbs.
Marecic was the inaugural winner of the Paul Hornung Award given to college football most versatile player. Marecic was named to the AFCA All-American team as the squads all-purpose player. During his senior campaign, Marecic had 51 tkls. and 5 TDs. Marecic is a devastating blocker in both the passing and running game. He is an high effort player and really excels on STs. Marecic is great in short yardage situations. Chuck Bednarik, the NFLs Last Sixty Minute Man, would be proud as Marecic avg. 110 plays/game.

2010 ALL-BIG EAST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM (COACHES): WR Dontavia Bogan, USF, Sr., has been selected All-BIG EAST Second Team for the 2010 college football season as selected by a vote of the league’s eight head football coaches. Bogan, who is a Thomasville, Ga. native, finished the regular season with 46 catches for 670 yards and five TDs. The 46 catches rank fifth on USF's single-season list, the 670 yards rank second and his five TDs are tied for fifth. During his career, Bogan has posted 106 receptions (No. 5 on USF's all-time list) for 1,519 yards (No. 3 on USF's all-time list) and 11 TDs (No. 3 on USF's all-time list).

79. Davonte Shannon S Buffalo 6'0" 206lbs.
Shannon was selected to the 1st team All-MAC in 2010. He led the team in with 120tkls. , added 4ints., and a fumble recovery. He finished his career at UB with a record breaking 461tkls. and was 1st all-time with 258 solo tkls. He is only the 4th player in MAC history to be selected to the All-MAC 1st team four years in a row. He is an intelligent player that takes good angles and uses the sideline to his advantage. But he is not overly physical and may be overpowered by larger NFL receivers.

80. Colin Madison OG Temple 6'3" 325lbs.
Madison was a member of the 2010 ALL-MAC 1st team. Madison played on the offensive line in all 12 games. A starter at right guard for nine contests, Madison also started at left guard twice. Named to the 2010 New York Post's Most-Under-Publicized Team, he was named the coaches' offensive player of the game following the game at Northern Illinois. In 2009, Madison was one of two underclassmen to start every game. He has the raw physical skills and instincts that will make him an welcome addition to any team that is looking for help on the OL. He is refered to as a monster on the interior of the line.
