We would be 12-4 If not for our PLAYERS and REFS and yet it is Wanny's fault??

Dallas has 4 pro bowl players, Carolina has three....Maimi has 4 with one extremely questionable selection in Brock Marion....not a big talent disparity there.

NE, plays a scheme that relies heavily on role players and specialists which doesn't promote individuals' stats....they are well balanced...and well coached but, I don't think Belichek is going to be available in the offseason....parcells neither. the opinions of some people not withstanding there isn't one clear cut choice available to us that would be a definate up grade over Wannstedt.

Fletcher was a need pick at the time, it just turned out to be the wrong guy. do I need to remind you that Jerry Wilson was playing nickell for us the year before fletch was chosen....eddie Moore was picked BEFORE we traded for Seau, and while it may not have been an urgent need, LB depth was very thin at the time.

Bravo!! Excellent post. Saved me alot of time. I was about to post the exact same type of reply. Thanks inFins.

Here is the thing that primetime's young *** doesn't understand.

Everything starts with the coach and it ends with the coach. The players are like soldiers and they do as they say, the refs can only do so much to regulate the field fairly and the players can only do as much as they are told to do.

We don't need Dave back in this team, we need a different atmosphere and I hope some people agree with that.

I am not taking either side in this debat, I am just trying to point out that Wanny is at fault as much as the rest of the team, he can't be held unaccountable just because he wsn't on the field. What I was saying is that the players need to have some fear when they screw up but they don't with Wanny as coach because he is the "Good Guy".

As far as the Pro Bowl. while I take some stock in the pro bowl selection I thin kit is more a popularity contest then wh is the best. If we went position by position based on abilities and not by individual play then the Fins have more talent then the teams I mentioned, the key is getting them to play to that talent level.

What does my age have to do with this? You are totally ignoring the topic of the First Post which stated that a BS call on McMichael and Mare's misses cost us this season just as much as Wanny did, but we just blame Wanny for all our mistakes. Now maybe you will understand what I am getting at. :)

Wanny is not blameless. I'm not saying that by any means. Let's hope that now that somebody is going to be holding a gun to his head coaching career, he'll figure out a way to scheme, motivate or scare some players into shape. He'll definately have more time to devote to finding those answers.:D

Dave got rid of our o-line coach for his buddy(meanwhile the panthers have our old oline coach and are able to run very well now), he got rid of our special teams coach for a buddy and we have had penalties like crazy(maybe a change is in order?)...He drafted a lb with our first pick, he didnt get a LT this offseason which was priority number one, and counted on our often injured mark dixon to move over again, and counted on nails to come back from a huge injury to start. And through all this promised us a top 5 passing attack or something stupid like that? Well with all this ultimate power i do believe that he would have to take the majority of the blame...Add in(right or wrong) he's stuck with fiedler all these years, and for u that dont like norv he even hired that buddy too...I dont see why he wouldnt be accountable for us not goin to the playoffs???

Again...look at the first post. If those two things do not occur, we would be in the playoffs, not even mentioning why Wanny got a 2 year contract extension.

Yeah ur right primetime the fact that our oline was in shambles cuz of our coaches moves probably had nothing to do with the bad passing game and bad running game. But those 3 plays u mentioned that was the season...lmao

Those 2 plays were our season. We execute them, we make playoffs, simple as that. We shouldn't have really needed to update our Line, with the way they played the previous year.

You just cant take any kind of critism about you or your boys Dave & Fiedler. Thats what your problem is.

BTW, I want to see what guys like Muck, Suave, Skape and others have to say about this. I would also love to see all the guys who say Wanny sucks respond, but that isn't ging to happen.

OK let's add to this debate, What did Wanny do that makes him the better choice then the next guy?

Elevated the level of talent on this team and took us to two 11-5 seasons, then a 9-7 season, and now a 10-6 season. Show me another guy out there who averages 10 wins a season.
