This thread is a bit of a spin off of an idea I posted in the Dolphins Forums. (

The post got good response and many wanted to execute this actual idea.
Here's the premise:
Due to impending CBA doom, the NFL has decided to make all players free agents and place them into a draft.
Each team is allowed to protect 3 players to prevent them from going into the pool.
The idea is to include 32 people to take each of the NFL teams. Each person designates 3 players "keepers" who do not go into the pool of FA's.
Once all teams are filled and keepers designated we will follow the order of the 2009 NFL draft to make it easy. I'll make sure every team has a pick and no team has 2 picks.
Think just like a regular fantasy draft, where each round is reversed. Therefore the Steelers get the #32 and #33 pick in the draft.
Remember to draft/keep not based on fantasy points, but based on in real life who would you want to build a team around. Remember to factor in age and positional demand of the players.
When you pick a team, copy and paste what is below (most recent added) and add your name and players. I'll try to keep this updated. Copy the most recent addition to it (even if I didn't update it.) Until you physically sign your name to the sheet you are not counted. Sorry about being kind of a jerk about that but it would get annoying inputing 32 people.
A mods help may be needed for this. I may be PMing people if this takes off. Thanks in advance. Also if someone can sticky this it would be great.
