Players should cut ahead of Ajayi

This trade looks like the Vontae Davis deal all over again, and we'll probably regret it the same way

Meh, won't matter too much, you'll say its all just made up junk.

The facts are there whether you want to believe them or not about Ajayi.
1. Bad knees. Look at the reason we were able to draft him in the 5th round. He has missed practices every week trying to keep fresh. He has ancient knees.
2. Lackluster effort in anything not running the ball. Didn't care about blocking, or receiving, or learning the playbook.
3. Attitude issues.

Not us being homers, you just won't believe the facts. Sorry

Ever think he was just tired of gase's bs? No, not all that endless bs, of course not that! His knees are uncertain, he may last 2-3 more years or longer, nobody knows. The fact that you can say lackluster effort in anything with jay just alone by how hard he runs is ridiculous, he tried all offseason to get better at receiving, and this blocking thing I've very rarely seen a problem with him, seems to be more of a made up thing on this board which people love to do here to support their bias.

Sure, all those facts, killed it. How many zero's Gase gotta put up til its okay to blame him since he's the guy in charge of that? Nope it's that great players fault that was all effort is now lazy, lmfao.

So basically, you are unwilling to listen to anything other than your own opinions? Rather than things said from people on the team? k

Let’s address the part about his lack of effort doing anything not running the ball. You say that because how hard he runs that it is impossible he isnt giving his 100% on other aspects... how does that make sense?? He cared about running the ball, and running only. Pass blocking, assignments, receiving, he didn’t give a **** about. You said you haven’t even watched all the games, yet here you are commenting like you have all the facts.

So Gase, as head coach, deserves no credit for getting us to the playoffs?

He deserves some, but remember we basically started 0-5 last year, and should have been around that this year too if not for a much improved defense. Ajayi had to carry the team and only then did the play calling pick up, it seems gase needs a serious handicap to call games or he is terrible. I'm not blind to what is actually happening and don't just look at the w-l and go hey, what a great coach! That was the announcer line on tnf until they saw how bad the play calling was and started making jokes about it all game. They knew it wasn't the qbs fault either, no qb or rb or oline or any player is going to succeed under such terrible play calling. Just like other teams fans, its taken observers all of an hour or two to figure out how bad Gase is but the never ending propoganda on here for Gase would never tell you that.

Fact is Gase should be a very below 500 coach on a team with a lot of talent if not for players carrying him hard or a lot of luck. That's the only fact you really need to know since most people only look at the w-l anyways, but those who see what's really going on and aren't trying to hide it for their agenda saw this coming from the get.

Still believe this trade was terrible. Gase showed against the Saints in London on the first drive he doesn't know how to use his personnel correctly... why did we run a fade to Julius Thomas on first down without Ajayi even on the field? Horrible play call and Ajayi has the right to be pissed. Ajayi should have had a touchdown on that drive so anyone calling out Ajayi for not being productive or having any TDs really need to take a look at Gase on that.

Whenever I saw jay he did fine catching, I haven't seen all of the games but he rarely got targeted anyways so what does it matter? Drake, Grant, and Stills haven't been used at all this season either, stop trying to turn Gase's incompetent play calling into something else .

-doesn’t watch every game
-ajayi has no trouble in the pass game, “from what you’ve seen”

hmmm

“Stills hasn’t been used at all this season” - yeah now we really know you don’t watch the games.

Has the playcalling been substandard? Yes- very. Is it all gase’s fault? No. He’s trying to adapt the offense to fit the limited talent we have (qb / ol)

Dolphinlifer- why wasn’t Gase’s play calling an issue last year?

Case in point? You mean Gase throwing Ajayi under the bus because he needed a scapegoat, after you saw what Ajayi put on the field and Gase's play calling, you really gonna believe that? When was the last time one of our players criticized our coaches? Even with Philbin, they kept their mouths shut for four years but you saw the lack of care on the field for the coach, much like what you see with Gase. That's the attitude on this board, its never okay for players to tell the truth or their just rats rather than doing the right thing and sticking up for the team and winning, but its always okay for coaches to throw players under the bus when it couldn't be more obvious that coach is the main problem, total hypocrisy.

Imagine if Tannehill would of done the right thing and not put up with Philbin destroying his body and the team for four years instead of just playing the coach speak line forever. We might have been done with Philbin in one or two years and Ryan would have taken much less of a beating and probably be much healthier now. But no, lets continue supporting the bs so we can keep another Philbin around to once again demolish the team and every great player we have. Remember when Timmons got benched for rebelling against Gase's bs? Everybody tried to throw him under the bus too and say he sucked, then he plays great and those propagandists dissapear until there is something new they can bs behind, que Ajayi for a 4th, back they come in droves! Yes yes I'm sure it was just Timmons being late for a meeting and him being super immature about it, I'm sure it wasn't Gase trying to act like an egomaniac and make him look stupid or anything, cuz Gase doesn't have incidents like this constantly... how many excuses you gonna make for Gase, when does the nonsense end?

If this board was logical Gase would be taking the blame for what he's earned right now, not having Ajayi thrown under the bus for being a great player and standing against an idiot, then tried to downplay into this or that bs excuse for why he wasn't a major find and a lot better than most 1st rounders. This board isn't logical though and its mostly just coach worshipping bureaucrats that bureaucrat coaches. We had a real coach who did a much better job than Gase, but he wasn't bureaucratic enough for the people here. It's like people don't care about winning here, they just want to say a lot of fancy words and look smart.

Man the Ajayi fan club is almost as bad as the Landry fan club.

This fanbase loves limited players. Quite hilarious..

Seriously? How many targets and how many drops Mr. all knowing? Stills wasn't used for anything until the last couple games, way to ignore grant and drake too, how conveniently of course. What was it one pass 20+ plus every two games pre the last two games with the best long td guy in the biz and stacked boxes every down? "Substandard" , so what 14 0's basically in 7 games is "Substandard", with a very talented O. if that doesn't equal the worst OC in many many years, I don't know what does.

Not the one guys fault in charge of it all and even calling the plays to boot, nooooo, of course not! Sub par ol, yes, sub par qb play with don't care cutler yes, but cutler and moore and both known to put up points and you put up endless zeros? This couldn't possibly be any more Gase's fault than it is, almost every position on O outside of a subpar OL and qbs who aren't actually subpar and Gase's subpar TE choice was loaded with talent. Plenty of offenses that would have loved to have our talent on o and are scoring way more points.

Try to match the facts with your statements if you want to say something real or you can Just keep pushing propaganda like the rest, you're not fooling anybody.

Dolphinlifer- why wasn’t Gase’s play calling an issue last year?

It was until Ajayi started carrying him with endless yac, we started almost 0-5 and Tannehill was looking like trash just like our current qbs, but I guess Tanny is trash too and it's not the one guys fault who continuously makes every player look bad no matter how good they are. How many qbs you gonna have to see that are known to put up points look terrible under Gase? How many players? How much reality has to effect you before you admit Gase is terrible at OC?

Man that is a lot of rambling to digest. Will read later and edit this post after work.

But from a quick skim.... WOW

(trying) calling someone else out about facts then just rambling off opinion after opinion.

What is this rubbish? Do you genuinely not even realise that Timmons went AWOL? Timmons decided .. the day before our first game that it was more important that he leave the team hotel, head to the airport and fly to see his baby momma? Nothing to do with being late for a meeting.

So, essentially half the offense? Do you know how many times Stills number was called by said play caller? I don't. Might have been a lot more than we think, given that everything starts with a subpar OL, and if they aren't giving the QB time to let the route develop, how is it ever going to work?

I for one am not going to miss Ajayi. Kudos to Gase for getting rid of him. Don’t cater to limited players.
