Jarvis Landry: Browns Qbs A Lot Better Than Dolphins

This reminds me of Brandon Marshall at that Pro Bowl when he got around 6 TDs.

He stated that when you have the best QBs in the league throwing to you, its easy.

Direct slam on Matt Moore, with whom we went 6-3 after a 0-7 start with Henne.

He dropped a LOT of passes from Moore that year.

Piss poor attitude. This validates the theory that there was a lot more going on with Landry than what we as fans got to see. Hence the trade.
Marshall had a legit gripe tho. Played with Henne and Moore. He was an elite WR who should never have been traded. For all the hate he gets around here, he worked his @$$ off and could've been dominant with a competent qb, like he was everywhere else.

His best statistical years were in Miami? 2014 seen him match his 2010 TD output, which remains his career high. But his output in PITTSBURGH remains far superior to anything he accomplished in Miami.

Which makes your post nonsense.

Which i said outside of his rime with big ben, if you could read...

I don't know about that. Hartline has posted very complimentary things about him on social media that I've seen. If he did throw shots, I absolutely missed it.
I know he was part of that Wallace, Gibson and others, twitter conversation poking fun of Tannehill at the end of that season. Pretty sure Hartline said something else derogatory about him a few years ago but it's probably water under the bridge now.

I mean the only issue I see with the interview is the discrediting of Ryan Tannehill not getting together with his receivers in the offseason. We have seen that reported and Landry makes it seem like it never happened. Hell we have seen Landry on Ryan’s fishing boat in the off-season.

Now maybe he is speaking on how detailed these workouts are. Apparently Landry got his entire Cleveland offense together in Miami . . . Running backs, tight ends, etc. while we mainly hear about timing stuff with wide receivers when it comes to Ryan in the past.

The full interview is not a bad read and he actually says the 2016 version of Ryan Tannehill before going down was skilled enough to lead us to a championship.

He likes his new group . . . .and he should. That is an extremely talented young core on offense in Cleveland . . . . More talented than our Group on offense and they can make some serious noise if it all comes together.

Seriously though, this thread has turned into a typical new school Facebook meme comments section in here. Let the records do the talking . . . .neither franchise has earned the right to brag about anything recent.

It is a nice group in theory, but it is the Browns so it's gonna be bad at some point.

Hartline never threw Tanny under the bus directly, but he did take issues with Bill Lazor's offense. Hartline actually has said in the past that he regrets not defending Tanny more when he was getting crap from Miko and Omar

Yeah, I remember Hartline said something to the effect of "It's too early to say if Tannehill is a franchise quarterback or not", when asked by some radio host, and that ruffled a few feathers 'round these parts. Was taken out of context tho apparently.

Jarvis has never been mistaken for a person who has class. He wouldn't know the first thing about being classy.

Just wait’ll he experiences his first Lake Erie snowstorm. They’ll happen any time between November and May. Having to drive through or shovel that stuff (which I’m willing to bet he’s never had to do) can really change your perspective.

He also put Ryan on a pedastool by saying he showed enough skill to lead Miami to a championship in 2016 if he did’t get hurt.

How often to we hear that kind of praise from a jettisoned player?

I think it’s being blown way out of proportion because of sensationalism headlines by the recap websites.

But that is nothing new. It was a good interview.

I'd love to read Landry's reaction to a Tannehill quote:

"We've got much better receivers this year than last year. I feel like now we have guys that will know the plays."

I can read, and that isn't what you said.

This is the same kind of thing Mike Wallace said when he left here. He quickly flamed out in Minnesota... Outside of his one breakout year with Big Ben, his best statistical years were with Tannehill. Landry should also remember the last 2 Dolphin receivers who played well with Tannehill only to move to Cleveland and flame out of the league within a year... Hartline and Bess.

It's an odd comment about QBs here not meeting up with WRs in offseason. Tannehill has done that every year...

Outside of his rookie year, he produced at an elite level 2 of the next 3 years. His numbers dipped prior to joining Miami because of Haley coming in and changing the offense.

People don't need to bash others to defend Tannehill.

And Wallace statistically could never match his PITTSBURGH output while in Miami.

You are correct, about his dip in numbers in Pittsburgh. They decided to limit Roethlisberger's hits and get the ball out of his hand quicker. The result? Wallace was not as effective. That is due to him being a one trick pony. Dangerous as a 2nd or 3rd option in an offense that forces you to honor the run and thrives on broken plays. #1 WR? Fail. Disciplined routes necessary? Fail.

Jesus dude, I said outside of his time with Big Ben, one of which was a breakout year... your sphincter always get this puckered up about Tannehill? Cheers.
