The Falcons are going to pursue a lot of qb's as soon as Vick gets suspended for the majority of this season. I bet a lot of Falcons fans are wishing they would have held onto shaub a bit longer. This dog fighthing issue is really going to hurt the Falcons this season.

I have been thinking that as well skeet, but the longer this drags out the more I think Peterson is just trying to make a point. And honestly, the longer this drags out, the more amped up I have been getting about possibly seeing Cpep play 100 percent healthy.

We already have a deal in place with Green. He wants to be here in Miami, in our system and with Coach Cam. As soon as we can make a deal with the completely unbalanced Carl Peterson, Green will be a Dolphin and I'll be pleased because although I think Daunte at his best is a better QB than Green, he's still not at his best, may never be and is just not as good a fit in Cams' offense as Trent Green. I still say that all QBs should compete for the starting job in training camp and if Daunte is 100%, firing the ball well and moving like his old self it will be a heck of a battle. Atlanta doesn't worry me because Green wants to be here and that's major imo. I do admit that I'd like this Green situation resolved already.

It's all over with. Carl Peterson has had us by the balls this entire time. If they don't want to pay Green his full salary, they don't have to cut him until SEPTEMBER. We're either going to pay whatever the Chiefs want for him, or we aren't going to get Green at all and we'll end up with gimpy ol' CPep.

Pretty much.
We're not winning anything with or without him, so I don't know why people are going off the deep end. At his point, I'd wait until September and start whomever wins the QB battle between Cpep, Lemon, and Beck. We can pick up Green in early September and cut Cpep if not performing or not healthy. By game 3, Green can start if the current starter is not cutting it. Beck should be starting as early as game 10 or 12 this year or game 1 of '08 at the very least. To me it's a 6th rounder or Peterson can eat the 7mm. Let him explain himself to ownership whom has to write check for the most expensive back up in NFL history (behind C'Pep that is).
