Most underrated/overrated players on team and league

From last year, but I thought Knight and Marion were overrated....

I agree. We should add Ogunleye to the list too. With out Taylor getting double teamed and distracting the offense he did nothing in chicago.

Overrated:Ty Law lets see him play without harrassing WRs and he will get burnt
Underrated: Shaun Alexander, I think hes the 2nd best RB in the league but you never hear his name mentioned

Dolphins
Overrated: Junior Seau he was a great player and people liek to talk like he still is but i think hes just an average LB right now.
Underrated: Zach Thomas just about every year in the league he is top 5 in tackles. Yet he doesnt get any respect throughout the league because hes not loud like Ray lewis.
Underrated: Oronde Gadsden :)

I'll follow that up with...

Overrated: Shaun Alexander

Underrated: Seahawks O-line.

I'll get back to you on that at the end of this season.

Oh come on man.

That's a pussified statement if I ever heard one. And I KNOW you are a smart fan.

I just stated that I'd give whatever to have Mike Vick as the Fins QB. That means, He'd take the place of a QB who's done as much, if not MORE than JP Losman has so far.

So, like I said, would you, or won't you?

See i think its Both. Alexander has scored what 16 TDs in his last 4 years. I think he has to be pretty good no matter what oline to do that

I totally agree with brady. He is an above average QB who has an amzing team and coaching staff around him.

Taylor went over 10 sacks once without Ogun. and even that year Trace Armstrong had more sacks than he did.

Who do you think hits double digit sacks again first? Ogun or JT? I say Ogun.

Well the question isn't real fair to JP because it writes him off before ever giving him a chance.

Of course if I had to make a snap decision on it before JP starts I would pick Vick.

OK then, that's what I was looking for.

JT had 10 sacks last year and Ogunleye had 5.5. JT also led the league in sacks not that long ago with 18.5.

Most Underated-Derrick Mason, Philip Rivers, and Daunte Culpepper
Most Overated-Michael Vick, Brett Favre, Drew Bledsoe, and Clinton Portis

Just adding alittle something to the conversation.

Taylor hasnt had a double digit sack year without a threat from the other side as well.

14.5 in 2000 and Trace Armstrong had 16 on the other side.

18.5 (amazing year) in 2002 and Ogun had 9.5

13 in 2003 and Ogun had 15

He has 9.5 in 2004 according to NFL.com.

In 2001 he had Kenny Mixon and his 2 sacks. JT had 8.5 sacks that year.

We know you love Philip Rivers, but give it a rest. He hasn't even played a down in the NFL. How can he be underrated? Nobody even mentions him.
