Yep not worth those guarantees in his rookie contract. Cap hit about 1.5M too high. So yep would need a pick back to take his contract on.

No one will admit it now but FH has a Jesse Davis fan club. It got tiring trying to explain to them how bad Davis is.
He was awful at Tackle but a couple years ago he was okay at guard. But the last 2 seasons made him look like the worst linemen in the league.
90% of coaches would’ve pulled the plug at least two years sooner.
It’s fantastic that we are going from a coach who didn’t know how to evaluate them to a coach who worships that unit.
