Man if Keller never got hurt and Gibson either who knows where this team would be. Sure Clay's production might be less but I'm sure overall they'd be an even better team than they are now.
I kind of agree with this. Why tell him he's safe now? Wait and see what happens the last 3 games.
We are a MEDIOCRE team that at this moment sits out of the playoff picture, and needs outside help to get in. I would like that to change at some point, and become one of the GOOD teams in the league that doesn't need outside help to get in. Get it?
Worst news I've heard all day the same day my car engine blew, my dog got hit by a car and my wife told me she's pregnant with my best friends baby.
Baltimore was 10 seconds away from losing to Minnesota that would've put them at 6-7 which they'd then need other teams to help them get in.
The difference between the 2 teams isn't as drastic as your negative mindset is making it seem.
Yep. Folks, we're not gonna beat Denver in their house, but Cincy and Indy are two teams we can beat. In fact, I like our chances against either of those teams. It's not like we're talking about sneaking in to the playoffs at 8-8 to get blown out by some amazing team here. 10-6 against a team we've already beaten once this year (and if it's Cinci, twice in the last 2 years) is a hope worth having.I understand the Ireland hate...really I do, but hoping for losses to close out the season just to secure our GM is fired instead of rooting for wins and a playoffs spot is just plain![]()
Now I really wanna lose the next 3 games.
Many people just don't get that we aren't going to go from near cellar dweller to elite in one season.
Getting to the point we are at, playoff possibilities but dependent on other teams results, is an intermediate stage between looking in from the outside in January and elite. We make our own destiny because Baltimore will not win out IMO.
