Should Xavien be traded for draft capital?

I’m for it ..he is rapidly closing in on 30. How did that work out when we did the same thing for rashad Jones?
Reshad went from baller to buttmud. Both in play and attitude. It was a damn shame too because Jones could have been an "all time Dolphin" like on a Cam Wake level.

Speaking of that, still wish we'd hear from Cam. I think we can all agree he's one who will always be family.

Nik Needham sucks? Playing in the most difficult position on the defensive backfield, slot? Your post sucks!
He blows. Constantly beaten in the middle of the field. Can't play slot to save his job. He had 2 good games the year before when he was an undrafted rookie and we had nobody in the secondary and all of a sudden he was "good".

He wasn't even playing much until about halfway through last year.

The fact we brought in Coleman and McCourtey along with having Iggy speaks volumes.

How many TDs did he give up?

Not as worthwhile stat as it's being played out to be. It doesn't matter when your man helps the opposing team drive their squad down the field. Once inside the 20 the field shortens and RB and TE play a bigger role.

What's the start for percentage of snaps Needham played inside the 20? My guess is not many.

And in the immortal words of Clint Eastwood:

When a man with a gun meets a man with a rifle, the man with the gun loses

The fact is that the Dolphins are really holding ALL the cards here.

The Fins can do nothing, If X holds out, he loses and loses big.

X pulled out a gun, and the Fins have a much bigger gun
True, this is not a Deshaun Watson situation (before the sexual lawsuits).

Anyone who thinks this isn't a big topic of discussion when the boys at the top get together isn't paying attention.

X's future may well be determined by how far along a younger player has progressed. One whom he worked with, and helped over the offseason.

X has no options. What can he do? Not play? Rack up fines, have no salary and payback his signing bonus?

Give in, pout and play badly? Decrease his value?

Nah, Fins will hold strong on this one, as they should.

Teams love looking at situations like these like a game a poker. Based on how the contract was done, it is logical to say Miami has all the cards here. Howard has two ten's, and the dolphins have two Aces, with the other two aces lined up after the flop. Anything that Howard is attempting to do at this moment is nothing but a bluff. It won't matter what pops up after the turn, and the river. The dolphins are winning in the end. The dolphins are more likely to trade him based on our previous stances in these situations. However, they would only consider that if Iggy is seen as a game changer. Is almost as if the dolphins anticipated this so they drafted iggy lol.
